Chosen for us as part of our tour. A lovely traditional kiwi house. Comfortable room with ensuite. Stefan is an excellent host. About a mile walk into town, for a choice of restuarants and bars. The continental breakfast was made special by the addition of freshly prepared fruit.

Especially appreciated Rhonda meeting us at the train station and giving us a short tour of Greymouth before taking us to our large comfortable room. Wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, home made German bread, and bacon and eggs cooked to order. Only drawback for us was spotty WiFi, and not able to make coffee in our room. Not big problems... Very welcoming. This B&B is in a traditional kiwi villa and is in great condition. Very warm and the rooms are a good size with HD Sky 😃. Would stay again and highly recommend to any type of traveller. The price is like a typical motel except you get breakfast here.

Spent one night here en route to Franz Josef Glacier. Stephan was a very good host, the room was clean and comfortable and the cooked breakfast was excellent, in fact the best poached eggs I've had in a long time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B & B.

Stayed here overnight en route from Queenstown to Nelson. Stephan was very hospitable, room was good, comfortable and clean. We had the front room with s nice bay window onto his well manicured garden and lawn. And he did a great breakfast. Very happy.

While we are not B&B travelers this 11 day trip on the South Island has all been in B & B. This was by far our most disappointing. Perhaps at $50-$60 per night but at the price we paid we were very disappointed.

We stayed 2 nights at Rosewood in January 2016 and enjoyed ourselves. Ronda and Stefan were excellent hosts, very helpful whenever we had a question about were to go and what to do. Our room was good, as were Stefan's breakfasts. Rosewood is easy to find - on the right side of the road heading south out of Greymouth, with... More

Not the cheapest B&B we stayed in, but Stephan offers somethings in return. A spacious bedroom with excellent bed quality and a breakfast which can be rated among the best, including lots of fresh fruit.

The property was easy to find. Plenty of street parking. The home is old, beautiful, and well kept. The property managers were friendly and welcoming. This was the busy season and I had to take the last room remaining on the 2nd floor. The room was huge and comfortable. The bathroom was across the hall but it was private for... More
