We always had a great desire to know the West Coast and finally, in April 2016, we decided that the time had come to visit that desolate part of New Zealand. Initially, we planned to depart from Christchurch, cross the country by Arthur's Pass, sleep in Hokitika and, in the following day, take the road down towards Franz Josef Glacier.... More

Thank you very much for your review letting us know that you enjoyed your stay and you found our units comfortable. I am also very happy to hear that the detour was worth it. We try and promote our lovely part of the west coast, but the glaciers seem to be the only thing people focus on, and you found... More

We enjoyed our stay here in a 2 bedroom unit. The owners and staff were so friendly and very helpful with suggestions of places to visit as well as good places to eat at night. The weather was great so we spent most of the days exploring and appreciated arriving back to a warm unit as the owners had put... More

We only stayed 1 night but of the 3 motels we stayed in this was by far the best. Lovely and clean, homely and wonderful friendly host. Bed was the most comfortable of our trip and the shower pressure was fantastic. Really helpful suggestions on our return to Christchurch, thank you we loved the alternative route and even got snow... We stayed in the motel (apartment as advertised on Expedia). We were late in arriving but the awesome people who run it had the heater on and curtains closed. Really clean and comfortable rooms. Linda and Steve made us feel most welcome, full of knowledge and ideas about what to visit while in Greymouth. We left some clothes behind and... More

We had a great stay, but the weather wasn't the best but to be expected this time of year. The friendly owners and staff were great and welcoming, the room was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed, so well done guys a good job, look forward to coming back to stay in the warmer weather.

We only stayed one night but the room and facilities were certainly suitable for a much longer stay. Check in was easy, staff welcoming and informative about where to eat. The bed and the shower hot and enjoyable. It was a short walk to the beach.

Booked the one bedroom motel unit with wet floor bathroom for two nights. One of our party was confined to a wheelchair and this unit worked well for sleeping the four adults - double bed in the bedroom and two singles in the lounge). The wet floor shower was great with a constant supply of hot water available. A shower... More

We had a two bedroom unit for one night. The manager gave us some useful tips on dinner, which we had down the road at the pub, which was very good. The room is very basic, almost cabin like, but its clean. A bit expensive for what you get.

Nice staff. Unbelievably clean, this little motel is tidy but unassuming on the outside, with large units that are well stocked with appliances and kitchen equipment. The internet worked well and was free. The beach was reached by a short walk through the garden and across a quiet lane way. You can hear the waves crashing at night. The road... More

Lovely 1 bedroom cabin. Large and comfortable. 2 x comfy lounge chairs. Bed and pillows really comfortable. Bathroom small, but adequate seeing toilet was in separate room. Everything was clean. Kitchenette was a good size. Special TV channel for guests showing all Greymouth and area attractions. Well worth watching. Beach across the road. Spa available for guests. Coin laundry available...
