Although the location was good, and the bed comfortable... id not stay again. There was no air conditioning... which may not bother some but if you leave windows open, all the outside noise flows in and theres minimal privacy. But closing the windows means the room gets warm and stuffy. :(

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are spacious and clean with kitchenettes and covered walkways. Love the standard NZ motel offering of a bottle of fresh milk for your morning coffee and cereal!

Stayed for one night en route and found it to be clean, comfortable and well placed. Kitchenette was well equipped and a good eatery over the road (though a little pricey). We would have no hesitation in recommending this as a stopover

While not a luxurious hotel, the Coleraine is a fantastic option in Greymouth. Our room was very large, immaculate, quiet and had nice furnishings. The hosts were simply fantastic and location was very good. Highly recommended.

We spent the night of Xmas Day here. The proprietors saved us with their recommendation for dinner at Priya's Indian Restaurant, which was one of the few, if the only, place open for dinner. Our check-in was simple and easy. At least half the restaurant patrons who were there when we were eating dinner showed up at the Coleraine by...

This was a great place to say in Greymouth. We had a self-contained unit for 2 couples. The place was very large, clean, and in perfect condition! The staff is super friendly, and the check in/out was super uncomplicated.
