We only spent 2 nights at this hotel.
Its a tired hotel BUT it is not bad hotel.
The staffs are friendly and welcoming. Do keep in mind that Wanganui is a small town so the environment is very relaxed and laid back.
Positives - friendly staff, clean rooms.
Negatives - hard beds, not modern or comfortable rooms and facilities, seemed very empty.
I stayed overnight on two separate trips in a month. Not horrible but just not the best either.
