Our stay here was awesome! They were very accommodating to us coming in late. They were friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations of where to eat in town and even letting us borrow their spade for Hot Water Beach. The room was very nice, and most importantly clean. Also, breakfast was delicious :-) We loved our stay here and we...

Garth and Adrienne were perfect hosts during our stay. The place was wonderful and the garden very inviting for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail is unmatched. Breakfast was tasteful and cooked to our own choice. Garth even went the extra mile and drove us to town for dinner!

This is the perfect place to stay and relax. The hospitality was excellent, breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were perfect. This was exactly what we needed to relax after a big trip around NZ. The attention to detail was second to known.

This was our third stop for two nights, part of an extended 6 1/2 week holiday to New Zealand. It is a beautiful house, so much character with superb views in every direction. Both rooms we had were very well equipped and the breakfasts were first class, Lucy & Martyn are still talking about the pancakes ! Garth and Adrienne...

Thanks so much for your glowing review! Glad to hear that you got home to the UK safely. It was a pleasure meeting the three of you, and helping out with your day tripping. Big "Hi" to Martyn. I hope Lucy has managed the knack of pancake making for him. Cheers :)

Cotswold Cottage is a neat little place with fantastic hosts. Beautiful setting near the small river. Overlooking fields, racecourse and surrounding mountains. Bed was comfortable and really nice room and bathroom. Home cooked hot breakfast in the morning was an awesome treat. There are three rooms in total and it was nice chatting to other travellers and sharing stories. Short...

Set on a rise with the town of Thames in the distance, the views from the bedrooms off Cotswold Cottage are as good as advertised. Add to this the warm welcome from the proprietors, comfortable and clean facilities and good breakfast fare, and you will wish you could stay longer.

A lovely setting, splendid bedroom with excellent facilities, great breakfast and informative and friendly hosts - what more could you want from such accomodation - nothing really ! Perhaps the only downside for CC is that Thames is , to put it politely, not the most exciting town in the Southern Hemisphere and decent restaurants are few and far between...

Thank you! Well, this place used to be a restaurant....We do agree that Thames is sadly lacking in good evening cafes, but hoping that will change. We do cook evening meals ourselves on request, so next time you come, book one in! It was great having you to stay, and always good to send people off with a smile :)
