We have been coming here for more than 20 years. Although older it is always clean With the lovely big trees and the river right next to where we stay it is very relaxing. We now have friends that come with us.We are retired but it is just as good for our grandchildren who love to spend lots of time... More

We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely this campground setting was. There is a nice pool to cool down in, lovely big trees and flowering gardens surrounded by bush and a river. The family unit we stayed in was very good. Not modern but clean and with all of the things we needed included. Some of the public facilities did... More

The campsite was very nice, the owner too, it is a small pleasant place. There is a dity ktchen, hot chower and a swimming pool. You can camp with a tente, a car, campervan or you can rent a bungalow. the toilet are clean too.

Me and my friend stop at Dickson park during our road trip. It was a very nice place to stay with a friendly staff ! The swimming pool was perfect after a warm day . We really recommend this place if you are in Thames. We will come back for sure !

The owner was rude and unpleasant and says to contact them with any issues yet doesn't play fair. Times where water was cold and facilities grotty as. Not a place for tourists to stay in cabins and that.

During our holiday in NZ, my husband & I stayed at Dickson Holiday Park Nov.26,'15. The manager, Geoff, was very helpful and our accommodation, a cabin with kitchen & toilet, was perfect. There's a clean pool, a river nearby and a butterfly museum on site. The city of Thames is close and the drive to the Coromandel Peninsula is beautiful.... More

I stayed here 14/11/15 passing through Coromandel loop. It was lovey friendly place with everthing you needed even groceries which were sold at reception. The owner Geoff was very helpful whatever you needed. Would stay again & recommend to others.

I had a super stay at Dickson holiday park! Was planning on staying for one night but stayed almost a week. Great bush walk and close to town. Amazing staff as well! I loved the relaxed atmosphere and took some time reading a book. Everything I needed was nearby. I enjoyed my stay and would love to go back :)

My wife and I stayed here recently on our motoring holiday around the North Island. The setting amongst the rain forest is superb and being low season we had a site next to the small river, really quite magic!. The kitchen and bathing facilities were good. The butterfly and orchid house is worth a visit, even though it is quite... More

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to review us here. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you come again one day. The butterfly house is not ours, but am sure they will be pleased with your recommendation. Their costs of importing buterflies is huge, so their prices have to reflect this, so hope not tooo dear so... More

Hi, sorry you not happy with your experience. Had you contacted me directly, perhaps I might understand your issues. We have thousands of happy guests here every year, so something must have gone sadly awry to upset you, but unless I know what, I am unable to resolve anything? More
