The room was large, clean and well appointed with windows opening to the gardens. Huge comfy bed with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. Ensuite was well done in a slightly 'Old Fashion' theme that fitted in perfectly with this old manor property Try a Devonshire Tea with homemade scones baked especially for you or try some freshly made cakes... From the moment we drove up the path and took one look at the beautifully manicured gardens, I knew I was going to love this place, the manor itself is from early 1900's and decorated as such, I was in heaven. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and very informative and gave lots of suggestions on what to see and... More

We paid quite a bit for a 2 night stay at Basildene Manor and it was worth every cent. The services provided were of high quality and completely free of additional cost. Tea, coffee and juices were available throughout the day at the main dining room. One could also use one of the cosy lounges for afternoon tea and tasty... More

Do yourself a favour and visit Basildene Manor. It's situated close to town which is full of good restaurants, but just far enough out to feel like you're still on a country lane. The atmosphere is somewhat more like a cosy B&B with the shared lounge rooms equipped with fireplaces and a breakfast conservatory offering coffee and nibbles all day,... More

My boyfriend and I had a lovely long weekend here. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. It's quiet and the rooms are beautiful. Breakfast in the morning is delicious. Cozy up in the afternoon in front of the fire with a puzzle!

Second stay here, some many years between but found Basildene to have maintained their impeccable record for outstanding accommodation With my husband ill, my sister accompanied me on this trip and our room, the “Champagne” just was spectacular. One of the newer rooms and the former downstairs library area I believe, this suite was superbly appointed. From the quality furnishing... More

Basildene Manor is a small, old (but beautifully restored), charming hotel that is more like staying at someone's lovely home. The staff were exceptionally helpful, the breakfasts were delicious, the room was small but gorgeous, and the location a short (5 min) drive from Margaret River town was great. I'd definitely recommend Basildene.

Dear Hod13, Thank you for taking the time to write your review and I totally understand your frustration with the WiFi. It is something we are working on, but for a myriad of reasons we are having difficulty obtaining consistency in signal strength - we will strive to find a solution in the near future.
