It was really lucky to have a room in last minute booking. We stayed for only one night for mini holiday. Would love to stay much longer. great clean accommodation right in town. Big room and bed, and so nice with the Spa!

We scored an amazing midweek 3 for 2 deal via facebook so it was an easy decision to extend our South Western trip with a further stay at Vintages in Margs. We read reviews and Vintages did not disappoint - we felt like we won the lottery!!. The location is perfect...easy walking distance of town with some amazing and quirky restaurants, and all the facilities you need. Lots of nice walks and tours available. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who walked us to our room and gave us some info and restaurant discount cards. The heating in the room was already on and we had a lovely private terrace at the back with a table and further seating at the front should you wish to be a little more social (not that there was anyone about!). Our King triple room was spotlessly clean with a large shower room and little kitchenette with kettle, coffee maker, microwave and fridge - complete with all basic cutlery and crockery, perfect for those evenings when you just want to relax with some nibbles and a bottle of wine. There was fresh milk in the fridge & complimentary biscuits & bathroom items. More a posh motel than maybe a hotel but this should be 5*. Even though there is no breakfast available there are soooo many delicious options within a short walk, why would you need it? Everything is on your doorstep.....We will not hesitate to return on our next trip down South

We were fortunate to stay in a newly renovated room. The room was very comfortable and well appointed for a country town. The location, near the centre of town, was most convenient. We thought Vintages represented good value for money and we would happily stay there again.

We stayed in Vintages for five nights. The only unit available was a two bedroom unit so we took it and didn’t use the second bedroom. That meant we had an adequately sized bed room with a rather comfy bed, a small and quite dark kitchenette/sitting room and a good sized bathroom (but again, no windows and therefore no natural light. The fitting and fixtures were fine and if the rooms had been larger and with some more natural light available we would have enjoyed the stay much more. The Vintages is ideally suited for a town stay, very close to the Main Street, supermarket, laundromat and restaurants. The place with clean and it had sufficient cooking apparatus for simple eating.
