RestInn Lodge Warmenhuizen is family owned and located at a horticultural farm not far from the village. You need a car or a bike to reach the place. The owners are welcoming and correct.

The Lodge offers self-contained A-shaped cabins with glass end-walls that look out over the fields. It is a practical guesthouse, very quiet and well maintained. An OK place for a pleasant stay.

Adequately furnished and decorated the cosy cabin had two sagging single beds, table and chairs, flat screen TV, private terrace with table & chairs, wardrobe in the bathroom door, coffee & tea making facility, all tableware you need and a separate very small private bathroom with Japanese toilet, shower cubicle and tiny washbasin. The shower has a half-door and water leaks out when showering. All was very clean.

Doors at both sides of the cabin can be opened and have mosquito screens. No kitchen or microwave. A complete breakfast is delivered at the door in a box...

best aspects of this pit stop en route to the far north of Holland is it's self sufficiency / containment ....tea and coffee facils with bags, plates , cutlery in room and access to Koelkast. Room was cosy on a cold day with underfloor heating. Max. Use of space e.g..the loo door is a wee wardrobe!?? With the appearance of a safe door!! Historic Ursula churches in town. Ontbijjt delivered by hostess...Butlins style, on a trolley , kept warm in an insulated box, which is handed over...ours had farm grown grapes in it due to the season and lovely warm boiled eggs and rolls, croissant, ham cheese. He farm does activities for kids around he theme of pampoens in autumn. Agro-scenery around..incl. sheep, cabbages... Internationally renowned veg seed merchant...bejo is 4 doors down the same road!! There are English instructions to everything incl. the Japanese Toilet....but they don't help.....I rec. starting on the low setting , except for temperature!! More
