The house had a lovely old fashioned touch. The room I stayed in was very clean and spacious, the bed extremely comfortable and fresh..plenty of parking (I loved being able to park around the back). It is close to lots of amenities and I went with the recommended Salt Dish for breakfast which was such a positive too! My first...

We were on our way to Denham from Perth and decided to stay a night in Geraldton. The Weelaway homestead was clean, comfortable and furnished enough for a good few days' stay. It was complete with free wifi, good books, washing powder, dish cloths and drying racks. The location was easy to find and a short, pleasant walk to shops...

We stayed here for one night. Found Geraldton to be a nice little town, enjoyed wandering round the sea front area and shopping terraces. Weelaway is a really well organised. Check in info is emailed to you and there is parking for around 4 cars round the back. We stayed in the Regency Room which is the only one without...

The Weelaway is a historic house with shared accommodation within walking distance to city centre. Four bedrooms separated by a passage way and a 2 bedroom cottage attached at rear. The Cottage is the more suitable if have children however 2 single beds in one of the rooms would have been a better idea. Having booked 2 rooms plus the...

I know its late but I have been delayed due to ill health. Upon arrival Weelaway looks quite dismal as it is hidden by many trees in the front yard. This was the first time using self check in and we found it to be quick and easy. What a gem this place is! It's a very old house elegantly...

Have stayed at this lovely property before. Unfortunately, this time we felt let down with the property, our bedroom felt very dusty. The cleaners clearly had not attended prior to our stay the communal kitchen was okay but the laundry was very untidy. The gardens were very overgrown and we couldn't lock the back screen door. The smoke alarms looked...

We loved our stay here. It was an experience We stayed in the Randolph Stow room with ensuite. It was like stepping back in time, with heaps to explore and look at. Luxurious furnishings of brocade and lace and chiffon. Books and nick nacks and artifacts. Our room opened onto the garden with private table and chairs. There is a...

We had an enjoyable stay in the cottage attached to this old house. We were only there for one night and it was very inexpensive for two couples sharing the cost, but it could have definitely done with a bit of a refurbish. It was looking tired and the kitchen and bathroom were not very clean. I always travel with...

Stayed here for night while passing through Geraldton. Location is very good, close to both town and foreshore. We walked up to the War Memorial from here also. Rooms quite large. Very homely and comfortable. Bed comfy. Internet available, however, it was intermittent. Overall it was value for money

A lovely property with history. Unfortunately, our bedroom was very dirty with lots of dust that had clearly built up over a long period. The cleaners must not have looked in the drawers for years as there were lots of personal items covered in thick dust that had been left by previous guests. There was only one coat hanger in...
