If you look at the online pictures you will see a substantial building with many windows on many floors seeming to have water views, this is not the case! The hotel accommodation is only on the first four floors facing towards the indoor pool area, ie; no direct water views. I was mislead and booked a water view room on a high floor, expecting just that. Didn't get it, as it is just not available!! I repeat, I was mislead! Reception was OK. Room was OK. Breakfast was acceptable. Short walk into town or to the Dolphin centre. You get a 10% discount at their associated pub, Wellington, where the food was good and a great drink selection. They got 3 stars but I still feel that the advertising substantially mislead and leaves a bitter taste.

My two children and I stayed at the hotel for 8 nights in December 2021 as a result of a burglary at our home - the children and I were so impressed with everyone's kindness! There were limited rooms available but the male manager changed some things around so that we could stay in a room with a rollout bed for my second child. The breakfast chef Catherine was absolutely wonderful with my children, particularly my autistic son. She sourced maple syrup and made fresh pancakes every morning - she made sure my son's morning apple was 'red enough' and came out to check on us every time that she was working. The evening chef was also lovely and the dinner meals were huge and delicious. The entire staff (the waitresses, chefs and front of house managers) made our stay seem like a vacation and I am so grateful for their kindness and attention to detail - well done to all of the staff! I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to others - you all deserve a big bonus or pay rise. Thank you so much!

Very pleasant location and stay. Easy check-in. Our window looked out over landscaped areas and the bay. Room quiet, clean, plenty of hot water, enjoyed the private spa bath, bed reasonably comfortable - but a little firm for my arthritic hips. The negatives…. Underground car park very tight, 4 star hotel and 2 star toilet paper - better quality from the supermarket. Breakfast adequate but not great - eggs undercooked, grilled tomatoes cold and mushrooms cold and undercooked. We didn’t venture out to the landscaped area (which looked lovely) as there were too many steps for me to get up and down. Would stay again.

We stayed 1 night in one of the deluxe rooms with a spa bath. Room was a good size with all the amenities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. King bed was comfortable the room was quiet and we had a great sleep, no issues at all would definitely stay again at that price point.
