Location & Surroudings Kaani Beach Hotel is strategically well placed in the heart of Maafushi's tourist quarter with restaurants, souvenir shops, water sport activities and bikini beach in close proximity. While this is suitable for entertainment and culinary purposes, it somewhat compromises the promises of relaxation and rest, that the island offers. Be prepared to tolerate loud music from the neighboring restaurants rumbling through the noise permeable window front until late in the night. However, the pleothora of available activities ensures that boredom will certainly not occur, despite the remote island location. Rooms & Services This is easily Kaani Beach's strongest selling point. Rooms are very clean and up to international standards, including a safe, mini fridge, spaceous bed and effective air conditioning. Room service provides you with a daily restock of bottled water and fresh towels, if needed. The hallway is cleaned of sand multiples times a day, contributing to the overall prestine look. Further options, like laundry and transportation services are available, though we did not use them. Food & Activities The breakfast buffet is served in the neighboring Kaani Grand Hotel and offers an ejoyable variety of local and international items. We loved the roshi and omelette, but missed more choices of fresh fruit, which seems so readily available elsewhere on the island. Many different excursions and activities are vigorously, but at times misleadingly, advertised by the hotel staff. The most popular "real break" tour takes you out on a full-day trip to see stingrays, nurse sharks and a half-sunken shipwreck. While our excursion was concerningly overbooked with around 45 people, the tour guides did an exceptional job at ensuring safety and meeting everyone's needs, leading to a very pleasant experience. However, our daytrip to a nearby resort island was somewhat disappointing, with most activities being available only upon additional charge and the advertised "including drinks all day" being limited to lunchtime only.…

Recommend you stay at either of the sister hotels next door.. Kaani Seaview or palm. This one extremely basic & very noisy! No reception, you have to go next door for that! No restaurant, you have to go next door for that!! No Seaview, you have to go next door for that!

Spent six days. Excelent expirience. Very helpfull personnel Beautifull and clean rooms . Fresh coffie and water every morning. Excelent breakfast. They are very well organised in boat excursions and snorkling. At the price that is one third to one im resorts. Maafushi as village has s lot enterteiments and restaurans.

I have never seen without reception a hotel before here after a long trip there was no water in the room ı called everywhere but nobody answer me,ı went other hotel kaani grand and they told me there was nobody in reception kaani beach if ı need a urgent situation ı had to go other kaani hotel to tell my needs, it was schocked for me.I have been with my mother and I requested 1st floor but the first day our room was at 2nd floor,after a long trip it was very hard for my mum to use stairs . At 6th day I asked for the visiting resort hotel they advised me to rihiveli, 120 dollars for per person when ı reached the resort ,ı got demoralized because beach, toilets,bar everywhere so far from each other,although they knew my mothers health problems they advised us there,I connected to kaani otel via whatsapp ı told them there was a urgent situation the resort conditions are not suitable for my mum they answered me like? only question mark?? ı told them we wanted to go back kaani hotel they provide usa speed boat 2 hours later with 85 dollars charge so they made us last day in holiday terrible experience, my money was wasted because of their fault 325 dollars is so much to waste but they did it! if you want to waste your time and money yes you can stay this hotel!…

If you like to stay in a building site when you go on holiday to the Maldives then this is the hotel for you. The hotel is under renovation which at no point was communicated to us. The noise is horrific. You cannot rest during the day for the noise which goes on into the evening. The staff are equally as rude. I asked for a mask today as u needed on for my PCR test and I was told "No get your own mask the ones in the hotel are for the staff only". I then left to go to my room the receptionist said they would wait for me (less than 2 mins) and when I got back they had left. He didn't even give me directions. I think all of the staff in this hotel are very unhappy and put in the bare minimum of effort required. I have nothing good to say about any of the Kaani group business apart from the hotel has a nice view. …

We stayed 8 nights and everything was great! Kaani is the hotel with the best location in Maafushi — it has a bikini beach right under your rooms. For a very reasonable price you get a room with sea view. I think this is one of the most affordable hotels and islands in Maldives. The staff is very friendly, they are always near to help you. Mehedy helped us a lot when we were in the hotel restaurant and it was very interesting to learn smth new about local life. Speaking about the drawbacks: - the hotel breakfasts could include more fruit and porridge - I’d recommend to visit Maldives in summer cause in winter it may be more expensive and crowded

It was a great stay. Hotel is at good location, just in front of beach. Stuff was so lovely and kind. Special Thanks I wanna give to Sodir, he orginized all of ours trips around Maldives. Everything was always on the time, there is a lot of tours and places to visit. Local people was as well so kind. Recominded for parents with kids and friends! It is not about only how beautiful and clean the hotel is, its really about how professional the staff the hotel has and how they are dealing with the guests. I spent the most beautiful vacation in that hotel and Maafushi island as well, I did enjoyed my stay at the super clean and well furnished hotel with an amazing location. Furthermore, the friendly staff that I had ever met who made me feel like at home. So I want to thank them seriously for their positive attitude and help, special thanks to Kasun, the guy at the front desk who always there to help and work on how to satisfy the guest's need and meet the guest's expectations.

Without a doubt one of the favorite hotels, after all my travel so far! I stayed for more than a week and felt at home. The staff was extremely friendly, Particularly I would like to thank Kadir and Anas such wonderful guys who will take care of you utmost. The restaurant is very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant team deserves a special thanks. The rooms were huge and very clean, also the food in the restaurant was good and there's an option for vegetarians in their daily menu (dhaal, vegetables, etc..). I Highly recommended staying at Kaani Grand Seaview or Kaani Plam.

Me and my fiance stayed here for 14 days. The staff here is so nice and helpful. There are no hidden charges. They arrange amazing excursions. The food is amazing especially the breakfast. The rooms are nice and spacious. Everyone in the hotel are so friendly and nice. It is close to the bikini beach and local beach. We had the most amazing time here. Everything around is walkable. They even arrange pickup and drop from airport. They also arrange PCR test for return. We had the most amazing time here.
