A very dated and sad looking property which is fine for a 1 night stay. DVD player would not play on the TV even though it was pre-connected and no source change would make it work, and management wasn't concerned to help. The TV remote was a pain to work because of weak batteries. Limited choice of TV channels. Bed was comfortable enough. WiFI also worked fine. Pool is small and sad looking.
Very happy with our accomodation and the price. Everything you needed and nice and comfy. Coffee included and bowls for cereal. Staff very nice too. For one night can’t be beaten. No noise even though on main road.
We stayed in a two bedroom family room, plenty of room for us, clean and comfy. Even had a bath which was a nice surprise. Had all we could want for a nice short stay. Greg was nice and easy check in, full of plenty of useful advice. Has a small play area for children and a pool which was nice. Even thou was on main road it did quieten down later at night and wasn’t an issue, but if noise is there are rooms further towards back of motel. We ate down the road at the flying horse and that was quite nice. Will definitely be checking here first next visit and are looking forward to it, hopefully a couple of nights next time!.
The motel is just out of the city centre but with vehicle transport this isn't much of an issue. We were only here one night though and found the room very comfortable and the staff friendly. The price was also quite reasonable
This Motel is located along Princess Highway on a side street in a locality called East Warrnambool. This is about 3.5 Km east of the main Warrnambool city centre. However there are shopping centres within 10 minutes of walking distance. The descriptions of the available room types in their website are somewhat confusing. It would be a good idea to call them to find out more about the room types/facilities before booking. The room we had was called a family room which had two bed rooms, with a maximum occupancy of five. However we were billed on a dual occupancy basis which was very attractive. In addition to a small microwave oven and a tea coffee making facilities, there was also a portable two burner hot plate. There were minimal amount of utensils, cups and crockery. The rooms were very spacious. Although there was daily room service, tea and coffee were not replenished on a daily basis. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.…
