This b&b was recommended to us and we were delighted. We stayed in the balfour room ..not only was the bed very comfortable but the furnishings and attention to detail were spot on. The location is excellent, close to everything in town, breakfast was generous and amenities such as help yourself coffee etc was great.

This was our first stay here and we stayed in the self contained unit. The owners were so relaxed and accommodating it was fantastic. It is perfect location to walk to main section of Bendigo and surrounds, with so many restaurants and Pubs with in a easy walk, We in fact parked the car when we arrived and waved goodbye... More

This was our second stay as a family with two young children, though I have sent extended family members to Bishopscourt during the interim. Again we had a fantastic time thanks to warm hospitality, local knowledge, beautiful accommodation and 'extras' such as a guest lounge, games room and delicious breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful old building with interesting furnishings, and a great games room with open fire. We really enjoyed our stay with friends, and the breakfast was very nice. A quick walk to restaurants, pubs and central Bendigo. Lovely

Beautiful place with a great games room. Good place to stay with a well behaved family as they have an old pin ball machine which needs to be treated gently and walking distance to city centre with great restaurants around the corner. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for that special accommodation.

Our third visit and each one has been a joy! We stayed in the Mews on our first visit and loved it...everything you could possibly want in a self-contained apartment with just those extra special touches. The last two visits we have stayed in the house and had great fun playing in the games room before heading out into Bendigo... More

Wonderful big old home with huge rooms and great amenities. The upstairs games room has a snooker table as well as lots of other games and magazines. Only a block to lots of eateries, art gallery, theatre and shops. Quiet rooms and great big breakfast.

We stayed for just one night but it was not long enough and cannot wait to go back. We stayed in the Balfour Room and enjoyed the open fireplace immensely. Tea, coffee, water and biscuits were available in the games room which is just next door. Whilst the games room is a great concept I would say it was the... More

A motel or a hotel -- you'd be mad. Langley Hall (qv) has been our favourite when visiting Bendigo, but often fully booked. So we wotif'd Bishopscourt and were just as satisfied. Are we groupies for clerical hierarchy? Being wicked in the luxurious four-posters where the bishops slept -- hehe. Good breakfast, charming hosts, elegant room -- who could wish... More

Bishopscourt is a lovely old historic building with comfortable furnishings and pleasant hosts. We had an upstairs suite for $200 a night. This included a queen 4 poster bed which was comfortable, a sitting area with table, 2 wing chairs, a large screen TV with foxtel, open fire, and private bathroom with clawfoot and shower over bath. Found this a... More
