Throughly enjoyed our weekend away. We had a wonderful and friendly greeting from Libby in reception who explained the ins and outs of what our stay involved, included and provided a map of where everything was. We enjoyed Sovereign Hill first with a scrumptious Devonshire...More
Drove from Adelaide to Ballarat and had an easy check in at the hotel. Room was clean but was down two flights of stairs - had I known I would have requested a room at car park level so we didn't have to carry luggage...More
The staff were extremely pleasant on arrival. We had a little trouble actually finding the room so a few signs would definitely help out. Once we finally found it, the room was very clean and presentable. The bed was super comfortable. Even though the stay...More

We recently stayed in a Sovereign Room that is located within the Museum area. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We loved the buffet breakfast and the accessibility of the accommodation. The staff were fabulous, showing us courtesy and kindness.

I am not sure about disabled rooms but the hotel has a few steps in various areas A simple call would satisfy that question. It is about 150 Meters from the main buildings to the access to Sovereign Hill. It is down a sloping path and then opens into a sloping road going downhill which is lined by several buildings in the complex which is also sloping. The inbound journey is therefore easy, but the return journey would perhaps be difficult for a disabled person unless they have a motorised chair.

I think your referring to the getaway package for 2 adults which includes 1 night's accommodation, 2 days entry into sovereign hill and the gold museum, a 2 course dinner followed by the sound and light show, and a buffet breakfast is priced at $470 per couple. If your wanting a second nights accommodation the price per room for 2 adults would be $179 including a buffet breakfast.
There is no dinner the second night, you can only have the set menu dinner on the night your doing the show.
The total cost for 2 couples to do the getaway package and stay an extra night would be $1298
Entry is included in your package and can be used for the duration of your stay with us.
