As per other reviews... good bed, room etc. I had no problem parking my large 4wd. Free wifi was an added bonus. BUT the bathroom was very outdated and very mouldy! Was a let down for an otherwise great room. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good value for money and very central. Would stay again (but bring my flip...

Great main room plenty of room to spread out . ... bathroom very dated and not very clean. We were in room 6 and our shower was very moldy. Exhaust fan not working. Powder room did not have a hand towel rail so washing your hands and having to go back into the bathroom to wipe hands. Easy access to...

Stayed a night on my way between Melbourne and Adelaide. I was tired and the sun in the late afternoon was making driving difficult. Time to stop and get off the road for a bit. Located conveniently on the way into central Ballarat and Close to the Mall for eats. The room 7 I had was spacious and well appointed....

The Best Western Bakery Hill is clean and comfortable with free parking and limited wifi so it is ok for the rates that they charge, but the rooms could do with a renovation to brighten them up a little. That said the rooms have everything you could need including a stocked mini bar at reasonable prices. And it is only...

You get what you pay for I guess. Cheap accommodation. Room was dated, but a good size. In a good position. Close to shops and eateries, but being on a main corner, the traffic noise is a problem. Parking is also awkward and congested. Wouldn't stay there again.

It was a good location, bed was fine. Decor outdated but heater, tv worked etc. I was pining for a hot shower, but was apalled to find mould in the shower recess!!! So gave it a miss. Surely this would not take a lot of time/money to fix. We chose Best Western because of our recent stay in 1 of...

We had a 3 night stay here. I am okay with hotels being older and perhaps a little tired, but I can do without the mould in the shower recess. There were indications that changes maybe being made, i.e new taps in the bathroom, but this was overlooked due to the rusted 'disability' rails, broken and unclean grout / tiles,...

This is a great place to stay in the centre of town. Family friendly, walked into reception to hear piano practice in the background, felt like walking into a home rather than motel reception. Motel is at the top of bakery hill, across the road from a variety of eateries and short stroll to supermarkets. Room was spacious and comfortable....

As far as hotel rooms go it was pretty average & seemed a bit cold and dated with the internal exposed brick. The toilet was in a very small space and felt uncomfortable. Shower was hot with good pressure. The highlight was the king size bed with comfy pillows. Checkin was seemless and service good but it was lacking atmosphere....
