I use this hotel as a base while visiting Ballarat every few months or so. Staff esp. Kylie, are very friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. Haven't tried restaurant for any meal other than breakfast, but have heard great things about dinner from locals. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. Have stayed as solo, family, and couple.

Fantastic location - walking distance from city centre. Excellent service. Rooms comfortable but could definately use an upgrade - no fan in bathroom, no place to put clothes when in bathroom, lighting in room terrible, decor pretty drab. Was told that rooms are slowly being upgraded which will be great! Fridge & bar supply excellent. Beds are comfortable. Love the... More

Microwave in the room but no cutlery or crockery but attended at reception and they were only too helpful with what we needed. Shower hot with plenty of pressure. The Hotel is very dated and in... Very convenient location in central Ballarat with friendly helpful staff. We booked a standard double room which was a good size for our week-long stay, with enough room for all our luggage. It had a coffee table and comfy arm chairs, to relax in, as well as writing chairs at the desk. The bath towels were fluffy and new, and... More

Reception was not very friendly. The room was very dated. Beds were comfortable and shower was fine. Room had airconditioner/heater extra pillows and blankets. No bowls, plates or cutlery offered in the room. Good location close to the CBD

Stayed here as a bus driver with a bunch of people for a local party. Great spot for weekend parking for a bus. The room was clean, large and offered all that I needed. Motel was also well within walking distance of a a number of eating houses. Very friendly Receptionist when I went to fix up my account.

I called this hotel at 2:30am on a Sunday morning after I was caught without anywhere to go - asking for a room and they said no problem! I arrived and pressed the intercom and clearly woke the guy up. That didn't stop him being really lovely and assisting me in my hour of need. He even let me borrow... More
