We stayed one night recently during the time when there were some restrictions on travel. The staff (husband and wife) were super friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was amazing, for the price of hotel I have never had such an amazing breakfast. The rooms are old but interesting retro and well maintained, quiet and comfortable.

Room smelt putrid, dirty & damaged yet charged top rate Not what you would expect given the times we are in Some poor checkin work resulting in management aggression when subject of over charging was discussed. Make sure you’re clear on what is being offered before tapping that card. Very disappointed

No offence but it's a old type of place that needs a lot of sprucing up the bed was a shocker, no problems with the people running the place they are very nice and the place was packed because it's cheap, we only booked because we were in Warrnambool and the entire town was booked out , so we took a punt my suggestion is stay at the best western plus

Check in smooth and pleasant. It was a hot day (35 Celsius) and upon entering my room I turned the air conditioning on and within minutes the room was cool. The room was large and although nothing special, was more than adequate. The bathroom is showing its age but did the job. The TV remote’s battery was dead and within minutes after calling reception new ones were delivered and installed. The big plus here is location. Less than 29 minutes to the train station and plenty of pubs and eateries around. The pool looked inviting on a hot day. Overall I was pleased with everything. I’d definitely stay here again.
