At first we weren't sure if we were on the right road. We were all so tired and needed to rest. Bit by bit we were losing hope of finding the place and doubting if it was real. Finally with difficulty we found it. We opened the door just needing a place to sleep but we found so much more....

My son and I recently stayed in this delightful cottage. The furnishings were quirky but in a good way. Jenny was very friendly and helpful and had bread baking when we arrived. There was also a lovely aromatherapy oil burning in the foyer which was welcoming. The house is opposite a lovely big park and not far from the lake...

I escorted my Mother to Ballarat, and chose Tranquility as I was looking for a 2 bedroom unit to share. Our accommodation was called Aroma, and we parked at the front door under a carport. The units are essentially colour bond construction. Most fittings could do with an update - an example would be the recommended removal of the shower/spa...

A new heated Massage chair is being delivered on Thursday. We had the back and seat upholstered but this is loved 'to death' by so many, as per our guest book, and the legs are impossible to re upholster, so we have gone to the expense of a new chair to please our guests and give them something special they...

Tranquility Cottage is a 3 bedroom house, with everything you could need, in the suburbs of Ballarat. It is in a convenient location for access to all this beautiful city has to offer. The house itself shares a block of land with the owners residence, another granny flat at the back and a remedial masseur who works out of a...

Thank you for the positive comments. To ensure accuracy, there are two blocks, one has the managers residence and a two bedroom luxury cottage with own spa and sauna and the second block has a back unit and a 3 bedroom spacious home in front. At one end with separate entrance, there is a Chinese clinic that operates during the...

Facilities are not as described. The sauna/spa is really only a bath with a slight current. Control panels are covered so cannot use any of the features of the spa unit. Sauna does not work. Mould around top of spa that could be scraped off with a fingernail. I had to clean it before we could use it. The second...

We are so sorry you had a problem and did not receive any complaint or note to advise us of any problem at the time and the first we knew of any problem was when it went global on Trip Advisor. The small bath/spa is for children and the big double spa and sauna unit described as a Jacuzzi? -...

Always spare blankets in spare room wardrobe. Good idea to ask or text if you can't find something and we are only too ready to assist. No other comments on the bed. Perhaps the Niagra therapy vibrating pad was in the wrong position? I hope all the other things that were unique were of benefit to you - like the...

We called impromptu as we were travelling through ballarat and decided to stay the night. Jenny happily accommodated our family of 4. Arrived after 7 pm so too late to get breakfast included. Heater and aromatherapy oils were on ready for our arrival. Furnishing is very comfortable albeit not modern (lots of pink and flowers). Plenty of space, 2 Spa...

Thank you for taking the time to write and acknowledge the good things. You would have been in the New Tranquility, now at 117 instead of 115 Winter st. The one with the Aviary? We have taken some of the flowers out - you will notice if you do get to return - returning guests are offered 10% or a...

I almost hate to tell people about this slice of paradise on earth, because I don't want it to be booked up all the time. I have been twice and will go again at the earliest opportunity. Jennifer, the owner, is a brilliant and caring naturopath and nurse, but also a wonderful human being. The attention to detail is amazing....
