My wife and I took our grand kids here for a weekend away. Wow. What a beautiful setting, very old world. But, with great facilities. Kids spent some hours on the Saturday in the swimming pool, and it is a great pool. There is a spa for the adults. The majestic buildings are all located in beautifully maintained grounds that...

This was my first visit to Wyndham Ballarat however it won't be the last.....it was just lovely. Located at Sebastopol there is nothing really within an easy walk so a car is required. Staff were helpful, friendly but inconspicuous.

Stayed for 1 night as a family of 5. Booked a family apartment which was modern spacious and very well maintained. Staff were lovely and accomodating. It's a shame we didn't spend more time at the hotel

My partner and I have come here a few times before and have never been disappointed with the rooms or the service. Outside the resort the view is very suburban. Not that great really, but it's Ballarat and that's what I kind of expect unless you're near the lake there's not much here. My only gripe with the place is...

Staff were fantastic providing some history as the show you the facilities. Add to this the amenities and location was great highly recommended for families to get away and enjoy time together. Has a very large complex that allows for short or long walks even though is well out of the main center still being close enough to get easy...

Located in a quiet area at Sebastopol the apartments have significant historical architecture. Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful lakefront grounds, gym & two tennis courts, heated indoor pool, spa and sauna. Rooms are spacious and the stair case to rooms upstairs has old world charm.

We travel from Queensland to Victoria on a road trip for our anniversary. Stay here for 3 nights. Absolutely amazing. History, charm of the hotel and surrounding gardens. Whoa! You could stay and wonder at it all. Beautiful. Coming back. We had a great room with all the comforts. Warm and cosy. Ballarat is such a old world experience that...

We recently stayed 4 nights in a lower level 1 bed appartment, bedding was great and full kitchen really appreciated. My mother is an owner of timeshare through Wyndham so we were treated to some extra specials while staying at the resort, movies and wifi really came in handy.

Stayed for 2 nights. Property has an incredible history dating back to the gold rush and then as an orphanage. Property has been fitted out into quality apartments with heating, TV's, dvd player, cable TV etc. The property has a good array of facilities on a large parcel of land, and whilst we there was very quiet. Imagine would be...

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with good beds. However the apartment was smelly, a combination between some food and soap smell. The smell didn't go away while we stayed for the night. It was only in our apartment the corridor smelled fine. The layout of the apartment is good. With the kitchen/living room in the middle and the two bedrooms on...
