A beautiful, old house with lovely accommodation. Linda and Andre are very welcoming and the breakfast was super with tasty homemade jams and marmalade. Our room was well equipped and the beds comfortable.

This lovely B and B is a good way to have a taste of Tasmanian history with modern amenities. The pretty house from c. 1879 has period furniture in the rooms, but modern amenities to go with them. We appreciated the couch in our room for reading and the thoughtful supply of tea / coffee / biscuits left for us... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in Rose cottage, which is a self contained cottage separate from the main house. This was our favourite accommodation during our visit to Tasmania. The cottage was beautiful - lovely decor, spacious, light and spotlessly clean. The whole property is immaculate with a really pretty garden. We had a peek in a couple of... More

We revisited launceston after our previous visit in July last year. So, we had the same room (The Newton Room) in Kurrajong House for 2 nights. It was as good as the first time, and Linda and Andre are wonderful hosts. Its on the list for next time!

In fact I've recommended it highly to my cousin and her husband who will be staying there next week. The rooms are large, spotless, carefully and comfortably furnished, and... More

Kurrajong is a beautiful period building located high on a hill in Launceston. The rooms were large, tastefully decorated, spotless and very comfortable. Our hosts Linda and Andre were very helpful and could not do too much. Breakfast was lovely, with home made fare as well. We stayed in the main house and it has a great ambience. We would... More
