Clean and comfortable, with a good pub menu and daily specials. Full table service and a reasonable drink list, but no bottled sparkling water. Wines start from around AU$36 A bottle. Clean toilets. American Express cards are not accepted.

I have given this place a go several times as I really do like the pizzas and casual atmosphere. All thats lacking is the staff. You can wait ages for someone to take your order. Nobody returns either, to see if you need anything more. There is also a regular staff member at the bar who never smiles. And security, well I witnessed them being very rude asking under 18’s to leave immediately upon finishing their meal and it wasn’t even 9pm. There needs to be some decent staff training on all fronts, as its letting the place down

Went to the star bar for pizza on a Friday night. We called prior to make sure the kitchen was still open, we were ensured it was still open until 8:30pm. We ordered our pizza before 8:00pm and after waiting for 50 minutes, we asked the staff not once but twice to where our meals were. After receiving our pizza , we were told “our apprentice was on”. They didn’t compensate anything about the long wait , instead we asked to get it takeaway. It was a Friday night , wasn’t overly busy and was shocking customer service and experience.

When I booked in, I requested a quiet room. On the Friday night, my room was noisy but not unacceptable as music ended late evening. On the Saturday night, my room was above the DJ and speakers. Whole room was vibrating. Could not do anything that required a low level of noise and could not sleep. Thumping music persisted until after 1.15 AM on Sunday morning. At 4.30 Am, a very loud, obnoxious character was stomping, swearing and threatening one or more persons in the corridors. The general feeling was that it would be unsafe to leave my room to ask him to tone down the noise.

I visited this establishment with a group and therefore, I was able to view and take advice about several menu items at one sitting. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff attentive, the menu is quite extensive and, well-priced. A full bar is available and house wine is good quality (we tried the Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc which were good quality). A range of food (Tasmanian Salmon, Pasta, fried fish were sampled and all rated well). Servicing sizes were more than adequate. All up? Food was fresh and cooked with skill. Vegetables were fresh Salads were excellent. I'll be going again!
