A home away from home, Shannon and Craig are lovely hosts. Providing a home cooked breakfast, and home made jams and bread! Central location to the city centre and easy parking if you have a car. Certainly come back here for another visit. Highly recommend

We stayed here for one night in February and loved the location, the lounge room with roaring fire and the comfortable room. The breakfast was great an the hosts were lovely. We highly recommend this property if you are staying in Launceston.

Nice room and great friendly hosts who gave some good advice on things to do in and around Launceston. Brekky was cooked to perfection in the morning and the guest lounge was a nice cosy place to relax and have a nightcap in the evening. Will be back if ever in the area again.

Thanks Stephen for the nice review, we love to hear that our guests enjoy the comforts that Ashton Gate has to offer. The lounge with the fire is a nice place to unwind after a day of sight seeing and why not enjoy a little nightcap before heading to bed. We both wish to see you guys again soon and...

Since my last review of Ashton Gate the management has changed but not the charm or quality. The new managers, Shannon and Craig are putting their own stamp on the garden and internal decor while retaining all the old world charm. The little touches - like a complimentary port, newspapers and quality teas make this place stand out. The breakfast...

We visited Lonny with two other couples to see our beloved Football team the Dockers win against the Hawks which unfortunately did not eventuate..... Thankfully the fantastic experience we had staying at Ashton Gate well and truly made up for the loss! This old heritage home is extremely luxurious and beautifully decorated. The rooms are spacious and charming and the...

This is a classic 'old federation style' B & B which was absolutely beautiful. We were very disappointed that we could only stay 1 night due to our travel arrangements. The Guesthouse is very tastefully decorated in the period of its building style, with numerous rooms being available. We chose the 'William' Room, which we fell in love with. It...

Beautiful,old-victorian style house. Generous sized rooms and more than adequate ensuite. Breakfast was deliciously filling and the owners very friendly and had very helpful local knowledge. Easy walking distance to all city attractions. We stayed with friends so made good use of the cosy, communal lounge room with wood fire and very affordable local beers and wines

We stayed here for 6 nights during Targa Tasmania and I couldn't recommend it more highly, even for people like me who have never stayed in a B&B before. Shannon & Craig were charming hosts. The homemade bread at breakfast time is just one example of those little touches that make this place quite special. It sounds silly, but there...
