Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay here. Our room was cosy, clean and comfortable. The rooms could use an update but it was everything we needed and we were very comfortable for a weeks stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t do enough for us. Pool and spa were lovely and hot, and the kids loved the games rooms. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Please don't book. The 2 bedroom accomadation was nothing like what was advertised. The room was dirty and dated, very dark and just not clean. Booked 3 nights but left after one night. It was not fit for purpose. Don't risk it , plenty of good honest accomadation in launceston.

Website for this motel is very deceiving. Expected to find restaurant actively serving meals only to find it has been closed since the beginning of Covid pandemic. There was no other restaurant available within walking distance. This information should be clearly stated on website - it would have had a bearing on our booking

Do not recommend. The room we stayed in was damaged and not kid safe at all. If something bad happens and you need CCTV footage you most likely will not get what you need as they don’t have cameras covering all of the property’s grounds. We had this happen to us as we experienced something and we were not able to get the camera footage because it didn’t cover where it happened or anywhere near there. I took photos of the things I saw that were damaged but didn’t get all the damage in the photos because we Left. There was a hole in the wall of the kids bedroom that had looked like it had been plastered multiple times. The bar and bistro have been closed for 2 years now so if you want food you have to drive to city centre. It is unfortunate that we had to experience this and I’m very sorry to the people that have wanted to say something about things they have seen in there rooms that are damaged and not kid safe but don’t say anything.

Probably an amazing room, in 1962.. which ironically is quite possibly the year it was last cleaned properly. Everything above a 5 foot tall persons eye level is filthy and time has taken a toll on the condition of almost everything with the only real maintenance being some paint. The “out of order” signs are plentiful with nothing working in the kids games room and the restaurant permanently closed. Pool was nice which was the only reason for the 2nd star. Current Price does not reflect the condition and without being considerably cheaper or some extensive upgrades my tip is pay the little bit extra for one of the much nicer places.

Stayed here for three nights in a twin river room. The room itself is quite spacious and ideal for families. Customer service staff at the lobby were always friendly and warm. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

It’s is a beautiful hotel! It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home. Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. Environment was pleasant and welcoming. The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time walked in the door.

When we arrived, almost all of the lights switches didn't work. Then we found fungus growing at the foot of the door. One of the fans didn't work which was not helping with the heat. The railings were at waist height making them a hazard.

The rooms and facilities are very dated and incredibly dirty. No matter where I looked the lack of hygiene was apparent: food and rubbish on the carpet from previous visitors, dirty cups and spoons, stained walls and doors, mouldy shower, spiderwebs in every corner… The cleaner does not even fill the shower gel between guests

From the friendly welcoming, to the comfy rooms, the pool temp and the sauna on and ready; we always enjoy our stay in Launceston as a family when we can secure a room here. A little out of town but amazing views over the city. Wifi is hit and miss if making video calls, 100% family friendly.
