We drove straight from the airport to The Centennial Hotel. Had I have known what I know now, I would not have booked this hotel. We had to get our key from the staff in the bar who seemed to have no idea about how to access our key without a code we were supposed to have been given. When... More

We arrived at 8pm at night and collected our key from Restaurant staff downstairs. When we got into our room the window had been left open and it was freezing! Obviously we closed the window and turned the useless heater on. It did nothing. I was so cold I slept with full length thermals on. I had very poor sleep... More

Small basic room but fortunately went when the weather was pleasant enough not to have air con but the biggest downside to this hotel is the noise coming from the busy main road. You would think it would ease down by night time but definitely was constant heavy traffic all day and all night and barely got a decent night... More

An error on our behalf. After being directed straight from the Qantas site to their preferred providers after booking a flight, this one popped up and without checking Trip Advisor we went ahead and booked. Rookie Error !! Old, tired, dirty, noisy and no air conditioning, only option for air is to leave the window open. We won't outright bag... More

Stayed at this location approx. 5-6 years ago and although outdated was very friendly and enjoyable. The rooms have been updated and are much improved. Last time stayed in a rear room and did not notice traffic that much. This time we were in a front room and the noise from the traffic takes a while to get used to.... More

I had lunch on Sunday with my husband and mother in law. We dined in the restaurant and was pleasantly suprised. I opted for an eye fillet steak cooked rare. It came just as ordered but was probably let down by an ordinary hollandaise sauce. I should have opted not to have it. For dessert I just felt like an... More

I'm working here at the moment and I have one more night to go. Make no doubts the photos look fine on the website but I have had heavy articulated trucks and traffic for two nights now. No double glazing to stop the noise, and no air conditioning, so can not open the window. Went to iron my clothes yesterday... More

The other reviews are generally accurate as to description of the rooms. Hotel is in a good location and no problems with service. But the rooms are quite small and stuffy, and if you're bothered by street noise (I'm not) it will be a difficult sleep.

Stayed here for one night. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was good although it wasn't the one I booked ( they had issues with it), so put us in a bigger room which had twin beds. The room was very clean, comfy beds and a lounge area which was nice. Would recommend it to friends

I am not the one who will talk negative about any business coz at the end of the it is somebody's bread and butter. But... But my stay at this hotel was the worst ever.. I was so frustrated that at one point i felt like leaving in the middle of the night and wait for the morning.. Wash basin... More
