Our experience here was great from check in to check out we were treated very well. Our room was great and the shower and bed were fantastic, staff were very friendly and only to happy to help out. We ate inhouse and had room service both were good. We will certainly stay here again in the same room type
Wonderful place to stay. The bed was so comfortable, room cleaned daily and food at Links was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful when asked for assistance or directions. Loved seeing the wildlife around the property too!
Stayed here when I had to have a specialist appointment in Launceston. Couldn't fault the room at all. Comfy, clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Will be back for another stay next time with family or friends.
I stayed here for a couple of nights while I had renovations at home. The accessibility of the room was excellent with the bathroom being especially well appointed for people with disabilities. The room was clean and comfortable and the choice of pillows really added to my great nights sleep. I ordered room service most of the time and it not only arrived right on time but was fantastic and reasonably priced too.The only thing I found a little surprising was there were next to no bathroom amenities, no shower cap, cotton buds nothing but a hand soap. Not a complaint, just an oddity for a hotel of this calibre.
We stay here around 6 times a year and it's always comfortable and usually quiet. We had very noisy neighbours once, but the hotel staff took care of it immediately. We highly recommend the Country Club and the staff, but especially the Hotel Managers who listen to any problem and fix it in a flash.
Stay here quite regularly, the deluxe twin room is quite spacious and well maintained. Breakfast in link’s restaurant was excellent as always. You couldn’t go wrong staying at the country club. I would say though the TVs in the deluxe rooms really need updating, quite small for the size of the room and lack any smart features. Would definitely make the country club more compelling being able to watch your favourite streaming services in the room
A day planned at casino to fill in a day waiting for car service. Arriving at 10 ish thinking Cafe or a restaurant would be open. Nothing open, service awful grumpy staff, old facilities out of date, waited half an our to get a toastie a pack of pre made sandwiches and two coffees. If this is showcasing Tasmanian tourist locations it's a dam shame...
Our holiday was planned last minute, which resulted in three seperate bookings. The Front Desk staff were able to accommodate our transition from room to room with ease. For families of 4 or more may I suggest one of the lovely suites available or two interconnecting rooms. We ate at the breakfast buffet each morning and were very happy with the offerings. On New Years Eve, there was live music playing, food trucks and fireworks. We usually stay in the Country Club Villas, but enjoyed this change and would happily return.
Called at 10 pm , after a disappointment from another accommodation provider ,and the staff at the country club were more than helpful and accommodating to out situation. Really clean and very affordably priced. Especially last minute and after hours
I have recently stayed at this property for three nights with my son. It has been 8 years since my last stay and I can honestly say that the venue has sadly lost it's pazazz. We both had a suite and the decor has not changed in the eight years which is not in itself an issue, but the quality of services is noticeably reduced. In a suite made for two people we each had 1 small shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser and two small soaps. The toilet paper is single leaf. The tea bag selection is limited and there is now a pod machine in lieu of the coffee plunger from eightyears ago. To be honest I do not believe they allow their cleaning staff, who work very hard, enough time to give the rooms a thorough clean as there was noticeable dust in the black marble .bathrooms. We had room service the first night and apart from the 1 hour 20 min wait for the food to arrive it was very disappointing. The pork ribeye was a scrawny pork chop surrounded by green cucumber chunks and a date chutney that tasted of nothing. My medium porterhouse steak was well done, the mushroom sauce tasted of soy sauce and had a miniscule piece of mushroom in it and was served in the smallest pot I have ever seen and was served with about 6 slices of "rustic" potato and undercooked broccolini. We also ordered french fries which were very pale and limp. This meal cost $107. I am sorry because the bed and pillows were superb, the staff were on the whole very friendly but quite frankly the standards are not as they were. I know we can blame Covid for many things but for the price we paid I am really sorry to say that I could not recommend it to others.…
