I visit Launceston on a regular basis and always stay at the Penny Royal if there are vacancies. It is in a good location with easy parking and choice of local restaurants. Rooms are clean, comfortable and usually pretty quiet.
"Away from the road."
"We saw the cliffs outside our window, I think that might be away from the freeway :)"
"Level one for air-conditioning, ground floor has just a few stairs."
"Make sure the shower works - if possible."
"View over Penny Royal and cafes"
