This hotel is in a convenient location within a short drive (or walking if you up for it) to Cataract Gorge, shopping and dining options. The front desk of the hotel has quirky antique clocks, paintings and various items, room was consistent with the vintage style, they even provided traditional English tea cups instead of mugs! The room was clean...

This is a return visit for me to this location. I was impressed with the room I stayed in last time. This time we had room 21. This was a well furnished room which was clean and comfortable. Having (limited) onsite parking helped as we were able to do all our city venturing on foot. We did have a few...

Our travel agent had booked us in some amazing places until we got here. Upon check in which was so strange, if you park in the back lot you go down stairs and thru a garage type place before getting to reception. Not a great first look. After arriving in our room, which was very nice and had plenty of...

Bed needs a new mattress in room 16 but it was quiet and was not flooded with light at night. Good ensuite bathroom and old wares decorating the hotel gave it a homely atmosphere Rates were reasonable and breakfast was good

On arrival owner was not welcoming & we were not made to feel comfortable . In this day & age, with interstate and international travellers needing to make ongoing reservations it is extraordinary that no WIFI was available . With rules on the back of the door at how much we would be charged for this and that, the owner...

Stayed here for our last night in Launceston. Lovely old place. Very quaint and cottagey with lots of decorations that manage to suit each other. We got a room with a queen size bed, very comfortable. The room has an ensuite. Theres a small bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. You can get a continental breakfast for $13...

Do NOT stay here. I booked and prepaid for 2 nights. My flight was delayed so I arrived at 11pm. The hotel man refused to let me into the hotel as he was already home. Left me stranded in launceston with nowhere to go.

Our room was very comfortable, and the In retains a lot of the character it derives from its earlier life as a bakery. The breakfasts were excellent, with a good range from the buffet and the hot dishes were cooked on demand, and were excellent. The Inn proved a great location for our visit to the North, and we would...

Our room was situated on the rather busy York St, however with the glassed in verandah the road noise was non existent. The room was spaciously comfortable including a large cosy 4 poster bed. The service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious and great value. Close to the centre of town and walking distance to several spots of interest...

Good location with easy walk to Cataract Gorge, has a quaint feel and the rooms are a really good size with a full kitchenette, not that we used it as there was some really nice eateries nearby. Service was fine and on site parking was definitely handy.
