The Lovely and convenient location just above the city adds to the overall quality package with this B&B. Friendly service and wonderful range of breakfast options (including homemade honey and preserves, fresh pikelets and apple muffins) in the historic building made it a stay to remember. The rooms were tidy and the beds quite comfortable with a nice little kitchenette/dining... More

15 mins from Launceston this gorgeous restored 1836 chapel was the perfect place to stay! Two heaters a warm shower and electric blankets kept us super warm in the chilly weather and the breakfast supplies were superb! Eggs and honey from their farm plus home made jam and bread restocked daily! The village itself is just gorgeous too!!

Stayed 2 nights and Steve was a great host throughout. We had the 2 bedroom and came with 2 toddlers in our group. He gave us all a warm welcome and didn't mind that kids could be noisy at times, telling us that he has had 4 of his own. Very convenient with an en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette on... More

Stayed two nights on a weekend away. Great hospitality from Steve and delicious continental buffet breakfast with home made produce. Convenient on street parking. Kitchenette in room was convenient. Bathroom and fittings rather aged but room was very comfortable. Good wifi.

This bnb is a Victorian mansion with a great location on a hill in the most picturesque part of Launceston. The rooms are large. Steve serves an excellent breakfast - our favourites were the caramelised pears, poached stone fruit, bircher muesli, raspberry muffins and pikelets, all homemade. Yum!

This is our second visit to this B&B built in the late 1800s. Fantastic breakfast with home made jams, stewed fruit and bread. Steve is always helpful and the rooms are really nice, Good location and reasonably priced

We are so pleased to be referred here when our original plans fell through. Great location and comfortable four poster bed. Thoroughly enjoyed sumptious breakfasts with home cooked breads, pikelets, jams and fruits. Steve was helpful in advising places to eat at night, and routes for our further travel.

We stayed in the Wesleyan chapel at Evendale. A quaint little place that had everything you would need. Unfortunately our stay was very short. I was concerned that the place would be cold as we were there on a very cold day but once we turned the heaters on the place soon warmed up and was very comfortable. A good... More

Great location, with beautiful buildings nearby, friendly staff and a great breakfast. Unfortunately the beds and pillows are as old as the building. We booked a family apartment which is really not suitable for 4 adults and 1 child. The bathroom is only suitable for 1 bedroom as the other bedroom is in a complete separate area outside. We ended... More

We had a very large, quiet and clean room at the back of this large house. A very comfortable room. Steve was an excellent host and a wealth of local knowledge. Breakfast was magnificent with many local products, often made by Steve. The house is quite close to the heart of town. The hill is steep to town but did... More
