We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our room and the breakfast!! Easy walk to the CBD and great restaurants. We had a "picnic dinner" in the front room with a beautiful view of the city at sunset. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Happy to recommend.

We stayed with a group of eight - 4 couples and it was great to have the house to ourselves. The inside of the house was decorated lovely and modern and very comfortable. Bed was super comfortable and the additions of candles to burn and the electric blanket were great. Didn't need it though as we were very fortunate to...

A high quality bed and breakfast doesn't have the bathroom metres down the hall with three, albeit small, sets of stairs on the way. This defect apparently does not apply to all rooms but is not discovered until booking is made and paid. Poor show. We would not have stayed if this was made known. The place is well decorated...

Highfield House is a quaint nicely restored B&B without the dusty lace and 100 year old teddy bears. It has a lovely fireplace and living room to relax and unwind in after exploring Launceston. Parking is available and the breakfast is simple but really delicious. Good position on top of the hill makes for a broad scenic outlook.

We were in the top floor room with amazing views over launceston. Walking distance to town & charming, clean, modern and tasteful light and airy rooms. Loved it! Well equipped mini bar and great toiletries. Easy self service check in.

I just read the previous review and couldn't believe it, as we thought the bed we had (in the Welman Room) was the best ever! In fact, we are going to contact the owner to find out what it was. Also re other guest noise, I think there were 2 other couples, but not sure as we didn't hear a...

The aesthetics resemble a Mr and Mrs Smith hotel (warm and chic) however I'm writing this review at 4.30am as I've had the worst night's sleep. My husband heard me get up to get my iPad and said 'worst night sleep' so I'm not alone. The pillows are so high and rock hard, your uncomfortable neck will keep you awake...
