The aesthetics resemble a Mr and Mrs Smith hotel (warm and chic) however I'm writing this review at 4.30am as I've had the worst night's sleep. My husband heard me get up to get my iPad and said 'worst night sleep' so I'm not alone. The pillows are so high and rock hard, your uncomfortable neck will keep you awake... More

The B and B was stunning. All your needs were catered for and the price was fantastic. The location and views were beautiful. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. The rooms were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was lovely.

We stayed in the Suite with Garden View - Arthur. The room and the bathroom was very clean. We enjoy a wide variety of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals and freshly baked pastries at the breakfast. Free private parking was available on site.

We stayed at Highfield House for two nights. It was to be a taste of luxury and time out for us whilst on a business trip. The house is beautiful, the renovations are nice, the attention to detail with fragrant candles a delightful touch (although the contemporary squarish-type glass lampshades dont really suit the decor). They do need to finish... More

We loved our stay at highfield house. The room was very cosy and the bathroom very modern. The breakfast featured local produce which was fantastic. Only slight downside was we had a room downstairs beside the stairs and my partner woke easily from people entering and leaving the place. We will definitely return!

Beautiful period house fully renovated, located on a hill short walk to the centre of Launceston. Great views over the city from some rooms and the common balcony. Beautifully decorated all through, with a lot of attention to details. Stylish and lovely. Very clean. Cosy breakfast room with a nice continental breakfast. Great outdoor barbecue area. Lovely sitting room with... More

We stayed here for one night. We assumed it to be a B&B, where you could meet the owners. But a few days before we got an email that we could get the keys in a safe. No owner was there. We did not get the email on time, because we did not heve inernet connection the days before. After... More

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Highfield House. The house was built in 1860, and has been beautifully restored to it's former glory. The rooms are extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail in all the décor, was wonderful. we felt right at home, the minute we walked through the door. Position of the house was up... More

We stayed from the 12th until the 16th march, great for an early checkiin as we flew in earlier that morning, was great to get a text on how to enter the property. The room was gorgeous, great decor and the bathroom was down a few steps with double shower. The location was great with beautiful views. The continental breakfast... More

The house is beautiful and when you first walk in it takes you back. The room we had was very tastefully decorated and the smell was amazing. I kept commenting on our good the room smelt all night. Plenty of room especially the bathroom. Unfortunately the noise from other guests banging their doors and raised voices was not great. The... More
