Friendly & helpful staff who are keen to ensure you have a nice stay. I have stayed here many times because it is self contained & close to Launceston airport. The motel is within easy driving distance to many attractions in the North of Tasmania, as well as places along the NW. Restaurants, pubs & supermarkets in the CBD are... More

Friendly Staff....The room was large and the heating in the bathroom was great....however, the Heating in the main room was not adequate....we had it up high and didn't sleep well as it was just too chilly...And to use the Wi-fi you had to go outside in the cold....don't know about the other rooms though But our son had his own... Very outdated establishment which is being slowly upgraded. The sheets were clean the bed was good and it wasn't far from the Chinese Take Away and the Bottle shop. Overnight stay on our way back to Perth. We slept well and there was minimal noise. Pretty good for an overnighter

Doesn't cost much to stay here and it's conveniently only a 10 minute drive to the airport. Definitely needs an upgrade, tired looking. Dirty sofa, top bunk had no railing attached, everything else clean. Lady in reception is a bit of a character and a bit uncouth as well. Her cigarette smoke was drifting in the back windows of our... More

Value for the money. Clean, lots of hot water for showers, good supply of dishes. Was clean and well looked after. I used it as a jumping off point to visit the sights all around the top end of Tasmania. Small kitchen was all I needed.

Stayed there for 2 nights after driving from Hobart. Upon arrival was greeted by 2 lovely and wonderful people, Rodney and Raeleen at the reception. Seeing that I have a son and daughter, Raeleen immediately switched our rooms to have 2 single beds for the other room. The 2 bedrooms that we stayed was comfortable with full kitchen facilities to... More

The manager lady is helpful and charming, she finally saved me and my wife from an AIRBNB basement (it was terrible. be careful with those Airbnb homes)in Xmas days. She also suggested us the local restaurants and made booking for us.
