Freezing because the heater didn't work. Also the beeping was terrible - they had not replaced the smoke detector battery. Someone had tried but obviously couldn't open it...

We didn't stay here but visited the pub. Terrible experience, it was a quiet time after the races when we arrived but then got busy. By far the worst pint of Guinness I have ever been served up. The bar maid went to another bar to pour it and it looked like the slops from the night before. I asked...

Appalled by the customer service And the disgusting room. Blood splattered pillow, dirty floor and bathroom. phoned reception to lodge a complaint and wanted an upgrade. That was apparently ' the best room'. I asked them to pass my message on to the owners which they did not. I finally managed to track the owner down and she told me...

We were staying overnight in Toowoomba and dropped in here for a few drinks and dinner. Garlic Prawns were in a really nice sauce. Steak was large and cooked well. Service was quick and staff all friendly.

Hotel is old. We had to find a person inside the bar to check-in. Smell of smoke was strong upon coming inside. Some part of carpet is torn. No security, some guest were shouting until 1AM, drinking and smoking outside their front door.

We stayed here for one night to see the Festival and found their King Room had great comfy bed and was fairly quiet. Not sure if all the rooms have been partially refurbished like this one but it wasn't bad with new quilts, curtains etc. The bathroom was clean but in need of renovation. But it doesn't pretend to be...

We had a wonderful dinner tonight. My wife had a lamb shank and I had a Guiness Pie. Both were very tasty. The Guiness was very well poured. Service was first class and the restaurant has been refurbished to a high standard. Relaxing, comfortable, well priced and excellent cuisine.
