Great location close to shops, hotel & takeaway food, you will have to drive down the hill to the beach. The Motor Inn has a lovely pool area with bbq, clean rooms with a kitchenette & large fridge. We stayed 2 nights & did the "Coffee cruise" (Curtis Ferry) around the Gladstone harbour, it was a great 2 hours spent.

Large rooms, with all you need to cook and for a quite rest. Very good communication with the managers for breakfast, laundry and accomodations. Very close to the supermarket and fast restaurants and ...... to the beach!

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night on our way to Brisbane. We felt really at home and relaxed here. As soon as we entered the room, was just a gut feeling. The room was quite big with separate lounge/kitchenette area. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size, with walk in shower. The water... More

I was travelling on a business trip and was running late. I had pre-booked this hotel and had never stayed here before. I called to say I was running late, but that was no issue and when I saw the room I was so surprised. Very spacious and so much larger than most. Very, very nice place to stay and... More

We were so glad to stay here having driven north after Tropical Cyclone Marcia had hit and arrrive in sunshine. The room was fine for us and had everything we needed and the pool was very good to use. The couple who are the owners/managers were very helpful with advice about local places to eat and visit etc. Although we... More

Phoned up to get last minute room for my sister and elderly parents - the wonderful relief managers couldn't be more helpful and friendly and made a traumatic time extremely easy for us all. The room was spotless and well maintained and obviously doesn't compete with the brand new apartment style complexes. If you prefer old fashioned service and hospitality... More

Stayed here 4 nights recently. Rooms neat and tidy. Good bed. Large walk in shower, toiletries and fluffy white towels. Ample wardrobe space. Air con and 2 ceiling fans. Self contained with fridge, hot plates, microwave, jug, toaster and plenty of utensils etc to cook a meal. Shopping centre within walking distance. Nice view and balcony from 2nd floor rooms.... I had to stay at Tannum Sands on business this week, Fantastic name but the place does not live up to the expectations you might have. Got back to my room one afternoon on the third day and had no TV working, was told by Manager "it's tuning day" and the TV's don't work, and then complained to me that... More

Loved staying here as it was handy to EVERYTHING!! Shops are within walking distance and you can see the ocean. The rooms were neat and clean and it was very welcoming. Loved having a kitchenette to do any meal. Would recommend this place and area to anyone.

I stay at this place regular and have always found the standard very high and the size of the rooms great, But like the others say here I found the staff vey difficuld to deal with and the smile has been lost in their sad lives. I will still reccommend this place to anyone and you will not walk away... More
