Overall the large apartment was close to shops and resturants and modern, but the carpets were dirty and need a good clean. The beds NEED REPLACING. None of us slept at all as the beds had lumps in them. They must be 20yr old at least and have been over used. Drive way is too steep and we scratched underneath...

I stayed here for my wedding we stayed for a few days and the rooms flooded from the rain, no staff so had to clean it ourself and then the room stunk. The manager was so rude and didnt care he said he isn't doing anything about it. We booked the honeymoon package and didnt get anything we where told...

We were also disappointed with our stay at the Salt Service Apartments. Rather pricey in comparison to nearby hotels in Wollongong, we thought we'd treat ourselves to an Ocean View Room at the Salt Apartments. They really did look quite stunningly modern and luxurious on the website. We also required a serviced apartment as we had an 11 week old...

Highly disappointed with this 2 bedroom apt. For the price we paid should have got luxurious 5* apt. More like 3 1/2 star. Have stayed in far superior and less expensive in Wollongong. Will look elsewhere next time. The owners definitely don't know the meaning of Luxurious. I agree with those before me who have rated this poorly and have...

What a great place to stay when you are on the road. Friendly service and staff and very comfortable and affordable rooms with everything you need. I was shocked with the low price and central location of these appartments too. Across from the beach. Will stay here every time I come through woolongong.

Stayed at Salt a few weekends back, having spent the day in Sydney but not wanting to battle Sydney for accommodation on a Saturday night. Have to support the majority of the reviews. Price – very reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the apartment and the services within. Full bathroom with shower, bath and toilet, plus a...

I had stayed at Salt before and whilst exceptionally clean the TV was crap. This time it has been upgraded to an LCD and much clearer reception. The views are good, you can walk to the shops, beach and restaurant strip. Huge rooms and apartments for the price of a Novotel room. I will be back

As travellers, we all know that the word "luxury" used to advertise properties, rarely means "luxury". So why do they persist in using it. So it is with Salt Serviced Apartments which are advertised as a luxury apartment. Don't get me wrong - it was spacious and well located, but overall rather tired and no matter how you cut it,...

The saviour for these apartments is the location. It is very convenient to nearby shops and a walk to the nearby beach (not swimmable though). We had a top floor ocean view room. The view on the oceanside of the apartment was half blocked by the stadium, but you could see the water over the adjacent park. I knew to...

I recently stayed for 5 days over Queen's Birthday Weekend for a Sporting Event at the nearby WIN Entertainment Centre. It was the perfect place with all the facilities that I required. Large appartment with all requirements advertised. Close to everything within walking distance, great shopping, eating places and entertainment. My daughter and her family also stayed in the appart....
