Clean and tidy room. A little bit far from Wollongong central. Restaurants and shops are close by. Lots of choices for take away/delivery meals. Parking on site, right in front of your door. Stayed only for 2 nights and overall it was okay. Nothing fancy but wasn't bad.

Had a room closest to highway and didn't hear a thing. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I think they are value for money. Close to local attractions and transport. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Didn't expect much as only booked because everywhere else had no vacancies. Just wanted bed and a shower, and didn't care if decor was dated as long as it was clean.... But: room smelt awful like it hadn't been opened up for a long time, carpet was stained, nothing seemed really clean, and after neighbour in next room mentioned they... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for a work trip. Typical of most cheap motels it stank of cigarette smoke which drives me crazy. The room was tidy but I didn't expect much. Had a spa bath in the bathroom which was never ever going to be used by anyone with half a brain or respect for their health. Seriously. It's... More

My husband & i stayed for 1 night, this was a last resort booking due to all other motels in wollongong being booked out. The room it self was "ok" however the bathroom is another story. Firstly there is no vanity in the bathroom! The vanity is in the room and doubles as a kitchenette with bar fridge microwave hair... More

I booked the cheapest motel I could find close to where I needed to be. Then I read the TrupAdvisor reviews and thought - this will be an interesting! My expectations were high . The motel is from the 60's/70's and there are lots of them in Oz. The Windmill hasn't been updated - but it's very quiet, clean , comfortable,... More

Stayed one night in January 2016. Room had kitchenette which was handy. Motel was close and handy to family we were visiting. Service was good. Beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. Motel is a bit dated but no real complaints apart from cracked cup that was replaced.

It wasn't one of the best motels I have stayed at . Everything was booked out . I stayed in a family room with 2 friends we had to leave the door open for a while to air the room . It would have been better to sleep on the floor cause the beds where terrible. We where only looking... More

After a long term stay prior to unpacking our car we asked for a refund as this place is not suitable to stay! It is old, smelly, and extremely dirty. The kettle was full of black disgusting floating objects, stains every where, dirty bathroom & all cutlery dirty even though it had been packaged as clean. We were told no... More
