A great getaway spot. Ian was very helpful while making the booking and the place itself earns all of the good reviews up here. It's extremely quiet and very handy to the vineyards. The rooms are luxurious and uncluttered and it was such a nice change to have a room with a full size fridge/freezer for your own wines &...

Fantastic rooms in a beautiful location with lovely peaceful views. We had a truly wonderful and relaxing time. The location is very handy for wineries and couldn't wait to return to the hotel and enjoy a bottle on our verandah. We couldn't have asked for more of the room, location or service. All was A1. We will definitely return. Very...

Fantastic, clean, luxurious weekend escape. After booking the tonic i was not sure what to expect. I booked last minute and when myself and partner drove through the gates of the property to be greeted by a picturesque lake with our accomodation looking over it with the mountains as a back drop, we instantly wowed. 0 regrets an absolute must...

I couldn't pick a favourite part of the stay, but if I had to, it would be waking up in the most deliciously comfortable bed looking out upon the spectacular Hunter Valley. I would definitely...

The room was stylishly appointed and the bed was absolutely divine; my wife slept like a log, thank god. Seriously, we were visiting from Adelaide, a bastion of noise and chaos I assure you, and the tranquility inherent upon entering those hallowed halls of Tonic was truly transcendental. Breakfast was delightful and the countryside the very picture of serenity. The...

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a fabulous weekend away at Tonic Hotel. Arriving from Sydney (about a 2 hour drive), you reach Tonic Hotel. Pulling into a gravel drive that's far away enough from the accomodation to not impact on the tranquility, you pass a large pond full and arrive at your front door. There is space...

This place is so relaxed and easy to settle into. We wished we didn't have to come back home to reality. If feels like you are miles away from everything. Such an awesome place to stay and the breakfast was a hit too. Very happy with everything.
