Booked 2 rooms here. Rooms are clean, tidy, spacious and quiet. Admittedly we were in rooms furthest away from pub/restaurant but it was very quiet. In the morning, we enjoyed a cuppa on the terrace outside and were graced with the presence of 3 kangaroos and watched the hot air balloons. Just perfect! Convenience of pub/restaurant for food, drinks &...

Rooms were spacious and clean. each rooms has a small courtyard that overlooks countryside or vineyards. Comfortable bed. We stayed Monday to Friday so it was fairly quiet. very central to all the vineyards and walking distance to hunter valley gardens.

The internet photos once showed a much better picture This is a motel not what it is shown to be and at $200 per night it's up there! The rooms smelt of cleaning fluid and the beds pretty ordinary Their main attraction is location. The Bistro food was what you would expect from a pub in a motel

Fabulous place nestled in the Hunter Valley. Waking up to magnificent views of hot air balloons taking to the skies and the sun rising over vineyards in the distance beyond. Beautiful, large rooms that suit the style of the pub, lovely bathrooms and comfortable beds. Great service and lovely surrounds

While they cannot guarantee noise free rooms when they all come with ear plugs it's not a good sign. Bands playing Fri, Sat and Sun are very loud. The rooms are ok, but lounge and bathrooms are dated. Our stay was spoiled by a very rude and unhelpful receptionist named Felicity. Totally unhelpful and unaccommodating.

Located central Pokolbin in the heart of the Hunter. Close to all wineries and accommodation is good. The Pub has a good dining area and the selection on the menu is OK. Pub quality food fare. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Check for cheaper rates weekday stays. Ideally located for a home base, Hunter Wine Tasting.

Excellent location and great rooms really great value for what we got. We had a two bedroom room for 5 girls and it was such a nice place - nice big outdoor space and an open fire place. Really central to all the winery's as well - definitely staying here again 👏🏻👏🏻

We stayed one night after visiting Hunter Valley Gardens Snow Time. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. All staff we met were very hospitable and nothing was too much. Am thankful we reserved a booking for dinner at the Harrigsns Irish Bistro, located onsite, as it was booked out, and rightly so as the food was AMAZING! Will definitely...

Stayed here with my family (2 adults ,1 x 4yr old & 1 x1yr old) for the Snow in The Gardens. Very close to the gardens. Wasn't too bad of a room. Shower was a bit too hard for the kids. Had trouble with bathroom door handle coming loose but overall not too bad. The staff were friendly enough to...
