My wife and I travel from the New England Area to the NSW south coast about once every 4 weeks. Always trying to break the trip and have some fun. We have now stayed at the Hunter Valley Resort on two occassions. The rooms are old but well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant are also pretty...

The room was nice and a good size. Very accessible to several local wineries (walking distance). The pool was not clean when we used it though. Staff all very friendly. Great to have a small fridge in the room. Very effective air conditioning.

I had already stayed at the Resort many years ago and new what to expect and it was as I remembered it, a lovely quiet peaceful place to stay with nice rooms once again with all you require to make it a comfortable place to be. The restaurant is quite good where you can eat in or take a Pizza...

This resort is set in lovely surroundings. Our room over looked the vineyard and had roses outside the patio. Very peaceful. Restaurant staff pleasant and helpful. Cheese factory across the road well worth a visit.

My travel companion was unfortunately unwell during our stay. The staff in the restaurant (dinner and breakfast) went out of the way to assist me in meals for my friend. They also made me feel completely comfortable dining by myself. Not only helpful and delightfully friendly. My room was a twin share and I was surprised at how large the...

Do not be influenced by the title "resort". This place was anything but. We stayed here with a gift voucher and purchased a second night. Ten minutes after entering our room I was determined to check out next morning. Very old 70's decor rooms. I can cope with that, but a general lack of maintenance and care was outstanding. The...

Thanks for the feedback. Our sincere apologies for the issue with the pool - the filter was waiting on specific parts from the US. Thankfully this has been rectified and is now crystal clear. The issues regarding the flyscreen has also been fixed, and the wardrobe robe door attended to as well. You will be happy to know we are...

As a whole the experience of our stay was excellent, the friendly staff and scenic views made the trip memorable. We were slightly disappointed with our rooms due to the fact we thought we had paid for a red ballon special for a cottage but got a general room and then discovered that the price we paid was actually greater...

We stopped for just one night (thankfully) We arrived at 2.30pm after a 295k journey. The Chelet was not a double as requested but we were soon moved to a double. The place is in the middle of nowhere 25mins from the nearest town. We were offered breakfast at $15 but $20 (the breakfast was very poor) if we did...

Thanks for the feedback. Our sincere apologies for the issue with the pool - the filter was waiting on specific parts from the US. Thankfully this has been rectified and is now crystal clear. Not sure we agree we are in the middle of nowhere? Within walking distance are 5 winery/cellar doors and 3 other restaurants, other that ours? A...

Had a really great stay here. The room was excellent, nice and clean, large and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our only 'moan' (and very minor moan) was that there was no bottle opener in the room and we actually had to buy one (was only $2 so seriously not a biggy) but...
