With tickets to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, we decided to find some overnight accomodation nearby. As you would expect most places were books solid but this place popped up in the search, had a room available, so we booked with a breakfast for the morning. On arrival we were greeted warmly, briskly processed at reception and...

We have been in Australia for 3 weeks and at last we found good beer, good food, friendly people who genuinely were not trying to rip you off. The cabin we stayed in was clean and tidy with a great view across the local vineyards, we also had free wifi a first after 3 weeks !! All the staff worked...

We found our room to be both comfortable and clean. Plenty of toiletries were provided. Disappointed at having to pay $2 each for coffee pods. A bit rich when they cost about $6.00 for sixteen pods. The staff were very friendly.

Our accommodation was in a really nice chalet/bungalow quite a way from the main building which made it very quiet and peaceful. There were quite a few wild birds about and we did see a couple of kangaroos in the distance. We had a very interesting visit to the on site vineyard and a talk and film on the wines...

We went with some friends and spent just one night. Everyone loved it. In the 35+ heat of summer the rooms were not really warm even when we arrived. And with the aircon it was cool and cozy. The rooms were well looked after, spotless clean and the bed was HUGE and comfy. In the evening walking around the grounds...

Average room, large enough but decor is quite dated. Great patio area for sampling the wine from the local wineries! Fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Clean bathroom. Hunter resort is quite isolated and you need a car. We made use of Thomas winery over the road and we had a great time sampling their super wines. The Hunter wine tasting...

We were looking for an unique experience for our friends Hens Day celebrations and stumbled across the Adult Candy Making Class. We had such a fantastic time making Rocky Road, Truffles, Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Peanut Brittle. The Chef, Phil, is not only a master of his craft, he is very funny and had a wealth of knowledge to impart...

We had a delightful stay back in December on a very hot day when we took our grandchildren to see the Xmas Lights Spectacular. We got a great price and the check in etc. was friendly, the pool was wonderful on such a hot day and the breakfast next morning was in a delightful room and well catered. Due to...

We were looking for a bed for the night while exploring the Hunter Valley. The Hunter Valley Resort was just fine. The rooms are motel rooms which have pleasant views over grassy fields or vineyards ( two room tyoes). The rooms are clean and tidy and more than adequate. The resort facilities are excellent. The restaurant is good, the brewery...

After our LAX to Sydney flight landed, we hightailed it up to the gorgeous Hunter Valley Resort where one day / night should be three to four days / nights to really take in ALL the Resort activity & the Hunter Valley region. An awesome way to begin our journey of exploration to prove what is already proven, there really...
