Booked our two night stay through a Groupon special deal. The accommodation was reasonable and the amenities clean and comfortable. Surprised to discover on return to our room on day two that it wasn't serviced.

As value for money goes this resort falls far short. We stayed in a spa cabin , not a lot of privacy as it is attached to another spa cabin, we could hear our neighbours through the shared wall ! Over all the whole resort needs a make over , the grounds are poorly tended , our cabin and the... More

Good location for vineyards. Nice outlook from room. Didn't try any activities but seem to have a few things on. Room in serious need of upgrade (bathroom & furnishing), very dreary. Not worth the money.

Hunter Valley Resort organised my entire Hen's Night - from the tour during the day to the excellent three course dinner and the overnight accomodation for 15 people. Dealings with them were easy, flexible and very affordable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the resort offers extra activities such as the wine school, beer tasting palate, massage and segway. We had such fun riding the segway cross-country and around the vines on the Hunter Valley Resort property, and also along a track to McGuigan's vines. We could walk across the... More

We had the best weekend staying at the Hunter Resort. We were 4 friends from high school catching up after many years. The rooms were everything we had hoped for, and with a beautiful view. We did a fun wine tasting and ate in the restaurant. It was all lovely. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We went horse... More

On the features it says free wifi. But unfortunate u only use wifi at their office. U dont have free access at the room. U will have to purchase internet if u want to use wifi on ur phone or laptop. And internet packages are very expensive. I was also expecting a bottle of water in the room.

Thanks for the feedback - yes we offer free wifi at the front office, also the pool area, bbq and the guest library. There is a small $10 charge if you need wifi in the rooms. We are sorry these features did not meet with expectations. More

Great resort, great environment, professional staff but outdated furniture and bathroom! the room needs a bit more love and dedication! The property was fantastic with lots of space to walk around and the activities were great but if you mind the room, this might not be your place. Bed head was a dusty and doorframe as well. Cupboard didn't open... More

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our massages, wine appreciation talk and our tour in the vines. The gentleman who gave us the talk on Friday at 1100 was engaging and interesting and for a wine novice like myself, very informative. We were lucky to be the only 2 in the class so the extra attention to all... More

Arrived on the Saturday evening - Receptionist was very short with us. Parking was inadequate. Room was tidy but furniture was tired and deteriorating. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. Very disappointed.
