I booked this place while working in the Hunter Valley and it was a perfect haven. The rooms are bright, clean and had everything needed. I had room service which was fast, accurate, and perfectly presented, not to mention delicious. The grounds are great (quite...More

Its about 10-15 mins drive. Not an easy walk but you could do it. Taxis are plentiful in the Hunter Valley, any vineyard or hotel will call one for you. Tuscany Estate is OK, but there are plenty of equally good (and some better) vineyards closer. I recommend McWilliams Mt Pleasant and Audrey Wilkinson (which has the best view in the Hunter Valley).
