I think I'd have to agree with a previous reviewer and say we should keep this place a secret - it's just fantastic. A warm welcome, clean well appointed cottages, kangaroos in the paddock - what's not to like?! Easy walking distance to Blaxland Inn although we never ate out in the evening - we used the BBQ at the... More

"So You Want a Hunter Valley Experience? This Is It." 눇So You Want a Hunter Valley Experience? This Is It. Twin Trees Country Cottages is located on a property near Pokolbin, a short drive from Cessnock, and hence in the middle of the Hunter Valley. On the property are ten amazing cottages, all isolated from each other, all with a... More

We have just spent another 4days at Twin Tree Cottages, our country retreat in The Hunter. Nestled in the heart of Pokolbin, close to the Wineries and great places to dine. We come here at least 2 to 3 times a year, for the delight of country living as we live by the water in Port Stephens, so its a... More

What a great place! Went here with three friends! The staff were very accommodating and obliged to make the most out of our stay with the late check out! This was a great place with our own cottage that was private and self contained! Great to sit outside having a few drinks after a day out and perfect area to... More

Stayed here from the 26th - 28th September 2015. This is the start of Spring and in the middle of school holidays. I paid considerably less than other accommodation in the area which was nowhere near as good. Great location central to all Hunter Valley attractions. Easy access and the stand alone cottages provide a great deal of privacy. Very... More

Stayed here for 2 nights recently - wonderful place, so quiet and peaceful, self-contained, very clean and cozy. Great location - very central to everything. Only issue was that the pull out sofa bed had the thinnest mattress I have ever encountered - ended up putting the other couch cushions underneath for extra support.

Well folks, guess what! Since my last somewhat scathing review of Twin Trees Country Cottages my wife and I have been back twice. the most recent visit being for three nights just last week, 24 March to 27 March. we have also booked for five nights in late December. What has happened, you may ask? You may recall from my... More

A great place for a get away, close to wineries and great for concerts. Abit pricy for a weekend as you have to book a min of 2 nights. There is no shade near the pool. Staff were helpful and nice and there was a nice breakfast for the first morning.

Stayed a couple of times now. I agree with the previous reviewer. It is a wonderful and central location; but not luxurious. Practical, no-frills and more suited to young families. Not romantic. Does need updating. But still had a very relaxing time drinking wine on the balcony. Stayed one very hot Christmas Day and the air con simply could not... More
