The cottages are designed to give a feeling of seclusion in the bush. They are well equipped and easy to settle into. It is about a 10 minute drive to Cessnock and well located to drive to Hunter Valley wineries and restaurants. There are good breakfast supplies for the first morning. As with many country locations the flies and other...

Stayed for a weekend. Located 2 hours from Sydney and able to walk to winery and restaurant. Upon arrival we have a breakfast basket for two days - eggs, bread, cereal, juice. Very clean rooms with verandah to sit and watch kangaroos in the morning and afternoon. Air conditioning, TV and no wifi. This place great to relax - away...

These cottages are on such a quiet property, just minutes from some of the main attractions of Pokolbin. (Peterson House, Circa 1876, markets at Kevin Sobel Wines) I stayed in a one bedroom cottage which had a generous living area and kitchen. Don't expect luxury but expect a cute atmosphere with plenty of character and kangaroos! I was delighted to...

I think I'd have to agree with a previous reviewer and say we should keep this place a secret - it's just fantastic. A warm welcome, clean well appointed cottages, kangaroos in the paddock - what's not to like?! Easy walking distance to Blaxland Inn although we never ate out in the evening - we used the BBQ at the...

Twin Trees Country Cottages is located on a property near Pokolbin, a short drive from Cessnock, and hence in the middle of the Hunter Valley. On the property are ten amazing cottages, all isolated from each other, all with a...

We have just spent another 4days at Twin Tree Cottages, our country retreat in The Hunter. Nestled in the heart of Pokolbin, close to the Wineries and great places to dine. We come here at least 2 to 3 times a year, for the delight of country living as we live by the water in Port Stephens, so its a...

What a great place! Went here with three friends! The staff were very accommodating and obliged to make the most out of our stay with the late check out! This was a great place with our own cottage that was private and self contained! Great to sit outside having a few drinks after a day out and perfect area to...

Stayed here from the 26th - 28th September 2015. This is the start of Spring and in the middle of school holidays. I paid considerably less than other accommodation in the area which was nowhere near as good. Great location central to all Hunter Valley attractions. Easy access and the stand alone cottages provide a great deal of privacy. Very...

Stayed here for 2 nights recently - wonderful place, so quiet and peaceful, self-contained, very clean and cozy. Great location - very central to everything. Only issue was that the pull out sofa bed had the thinnest mattress I have ever encountered - ended up putting the other couch cushions underneath for extra support.

“If you're looking for a great hot shower with great water pressure, I wouldn't choose this location. There was only an air conditioner installed on the wall in the living dining area so bedrooms might be very hot in the heat of summer. Overprice for lack of luxury in our opinion.”
