Start of our trip. Came down from Ipswich-Lions Road And Summerland Way to Grafton. Motel located on the highway but we did not find noise a problem. Motel undergoing renovation. Nicely presented with small "kitchen" nook. Very clean and comfortable. 3 1/2 yStars
This was a one bedroom unit with a kitchenette and lounge. It was a fantastic layout and very comfortable. The drawback was the location. Right on the A1. Constant traffic going by and on the other side a train track. I think it was cargo trains as the schedule was not regular.
The motel is easy to find with good parking. When we checked in we had been on the road for 10 hours and were very tired so it was refreshing to encounter friendly helpful staff. Room was quite spacious and very clean, with a full kitchenette.
On arrival I was warmly greeted and provided with my room key. I was a little early, however my room was ready. The Room was well appointed, modern and well lit, something that others could take note of. The Room had a seperate Bedroom to the Kitchenette and Lounge area where the TV was situated. In addition to the Air Conditioner in the Bedroom, the Room also had Ceiling Fans in the Bedroom and Lounge area. The Lounge Room consisted of a comfy "L" shaped Lounge and a single bed. In the Bedroom was a large Wardrobe to accommodate all the clothes needed. The only negative was that there was no compendium for information.…
Freight trains rambling past diectly behind and semi trailers in front all through the night. No allocated parking so missed out after going out for dinner. Worse motel we have ever stayed in and overpriced
