Some motels offer just a room and that is OK if it is all you need. However the family at Jacaranda can take it a step higher. Firstly even the cheap rooms are on the big side. Our even had a dining room. The beds are comfortable and the place was clean. We needed good wifi and we got it. By the way when you wake up you may see some rabbits playing in the garden. It is a visit to the restaurant MOOS that tops off the Jacaranda. Best steak and chips I have had for a long while. the menu does offer more as well. Fully licensed. the only draw back is no espresso coffee

Stayed here after a long day travelling with a colleague and have been raving about how good it was ever since. At first it’s like stepping back into the motels we stayed at as kids - but then try the restaurant and we both had the best steak we’ve had in, well, a very long time. Service was fast and friendly in this family run business- added the garlic prawns to the rib eye and great got even better. We stayed at the bar for an extra hour chatting with the owners and it was the perfect way to finish a big day. My bed was oh so comfortable - really really comfortable, pillows perfect, the room spotlessly clean with a fabulous view of the remarkable sunset. The shower and bathroom were also spotless with a nice mix of shampoos etc and the acid test of every accommodation place - the towels - were big and fluffy. If you want friendly, welcoming old fashioned service with real people who care in clean, lovely surroundings and at a remarkably low tariff then stay here. I’ll be back for sure - we left refreshed, rejuvenated and smiling at this lovely country surprise.

The Jacaranda is great for an overnight stay. Very pleasant outlook, spacious grounds and terrific pool. Our family room was large and tidy. It is close to the highway but we all slept very well. There is a restaurant attached which seemed to be doing well the night we stayed.

Our family of 5 stayed here recently and had a wonderful stay. It's just out of town which makes it a little quieter but do be aware that it runs parallel to the highway so trucks are a little noisy overnight. Room was pretty large, albeit very dated but HEY, it's Grafton and the room rate for 5 people was a BARGAIN. Owner was really lovely and super accommodating. If we every pass through in future, we definitely would stay here again.

In terms of years this is a very old Motel. My room was in an older part of the property but had been recently refurbished. Still some hints from bygone days. The sink was in the room itself not in the ensuite and there is quite a high wall/barrier to step over when getting into the shower. A small bar fridge and a large (for the size of the room) screen television. The Foxtel option was very limited. There was no microwave (unusual in a motel of this size) but the usual other accoutrements (Jug, toaster etc.). The bed (King) was very comfortable and the veranda was a welcome space after the drive. There is a picnic area and swimming pool as well as a restaurant, none of which was sampled.
