We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin suitable for 5 overnight. Our cabin was older but the a/c worked well and the electric blankets were a treat on this cold night. Shower small but hot water plentiful. It was all we needed for overnight. There were swings and a mini golf course which the grandsons played on all afternoon. We... More

You can't expect too much when you request a cabin that's dog friendly. It was good considering this, unfortunately our sink leaked and we had to change cabin, then our heater kept cutting out all night, not very fun with an infant in a cold cabin...

Reception was very friendly. Older type park with amenities needing updating but these were very neat, clean and well kept. The powered sites were quite muddy so we were directed to use non drive thru. This was appreciated being for warned. Not really a park to bring the kids and spend time as the facilities for kids are in dire... More

We had a superior merino villa. It was fairly new, very clean and very spacious. We had plenty of room and all the things we needed in the kitchen. Was only a short drive to town or to the zoo. In the middle of the industrial area but very quiet at night. Disabled persons villa.

The location is good, just out of town centre and quiet. Toilets and showers could do with an update, I've stayed in a good few campsites in Australia and they are just about average, needed to be cleaned more often. The camp kitchen isn't much of a kitchen, there's a bbq and a kettle and to be honest I wouldn't... More

We stayed three nights in a two bedroom cabin. The staff were friendly. The cabin was very old and small ( luckily there were only 2 of us) but it was clean. You will need a car to get to the town centre though. As it was winter and so cold we had to use the heater. Problem was it was... More

The lovely couple running the park were brilliant, nothing was a problem. The park was clean well laid out. The 2 bed cabins were spacious enough for 3 people. It is nicely located on the edge of town close to the everything.

5 of us needed an overnight stay in Dubbo on our way north. Midstate was clean, gave us a good sleep and was exactly what we needed. Our room was as expected for the price - staff were friendly and we were on our way - no problems.

We were looking for a cheap room for an overnight stop. That's what we got. A cheap room. The pillows are awful, there was a foul smell from the tiny bathroom and the quality of fittings and the finish is terrible. I actually thought I was booking a cabin, but I got a "motel room". It was more like a... More

We are Grey Nomads travelling around Australia in our motorhome. When travelling, especially when it rains for many days and all you can see is flooding around, you need a friendly face who will offer you accommodation when night is approaching. There was no accommodation available for us in Dubbo, nor around. Despite lack of hope we stopped and asked... More
