Booked in for two nights with a caravan. Phone booking accepted, but when we arrived the 'site' we were given was sloping, uneven and very muddy (could accept this...just...as it had rained a few days before). Difficult to get into as cabin in front of the site was close to the road. No adequate provision for water drainage (this could... More

When enquiring on arrival about a non-powered (tent) site I was advised the Park only had powered sites and not having any other options I agreed to the higher charges. However, on setting up I found a neibouring camper was using my power supply as they had no power and had already raised this problem with management. No action was... More

Poor amenities, no grass on sites, the whole park needs a lot of work and a bit of TLC this is the only park I have been to that has dancing washing machines. The Bar BQ plate was out of order the five days we were there. This is a Top Park in name only.

We stayed here for 2 nights some sites aren't level sites but we got two sites that were pretty good, staff were very nice and much more helpful than the other park. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we were in the area.

Booked a week here in our caravan Sept 2016, should have tried one day first then moved to the other park in Krakow Street! This park is poorly maintained and both amenities and camp kitchen not very clean, with no improvement over the period. Games areas terrible. Very dark at night, quite noisy (near highway), they advertise 'grassed sites' but... More

After being denied a site at Broken Hill Tourist Park due to inefficient staff we were quick to realise that we in fact were done a favour as when we arrived at Lakeview Caravan Park we were greeted by Amy who went out of her way to accommodate us with a perfect site. Amenities were very clean and the showers... More

Interesting town. Other caravan park on way in was full and we got probably last spot here. Muddy, uneven spots but enough space to next van. Still hard to back in as little room between rows. Amenities clean but large people would have difficulty in toilets - smallest cubicles I've ever come across. Charge more than some excellent parks we've... More

Whilst our view of this caravan park may have been coloured by the cold and wet day of our arrival, it did seem to need a bit more TLC. Furthermore, do not expect to have a lovely grassed site overlooking the lake. The lake views are rather elusive and the staff attitude tended toward a take it or leave it... More

Geez, seriously, is this the best Broken Hill can do? Positioning unpowered campers in a rough-as-guts "tip" next to the din of the Barrier Highway is appalling. But there's more. If you go into the kitchen (a proverbial half-way house for cockroaches) take some disinfectant for your hands -- it is a fetid, run-down and unwelcoming place to contemplate anything,... More

We stayed one night and my handbag was stolen. Beware. Other than that it was ok and the receptionist was friendly and helpful and said that she heard there has been a few snatch and grabs lately. Site was not level and no paths to the amenities. Poor lighting too.
