Stayed here for two nights. Excellent service at check in and we arrived early which was not an issue. The room itself was spotless and more than adequate. The bathroom had all the essentials, such as shower gel, shaving cream, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, etc., therefore, you didn't have to bring anything. Both the bathroom & the bedroom were a...

We recently stayed at the Desert Sands Motor Inn. From the time we drove onto the property until we left was one of the worst experiences in our lifetimes. The room itself is the filthiest motel we have ever seen -- there was mould in the carpet (obviously from the air conditioning unit on the wall) and the skirting boards...

Room was basic. Aircon was very noisy. There was no bath mat in the room just two towels that where thin. Bed was hard and not a great night sleep was had. Central location is about all that is a bonus for the place.

Reception was friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean. We booked through Booking.com and when we arrived they had the wrong room available for us. Something to do with Booking.com's website. Because they were booked out we had to wait till the 3rd day for another room. They then gave us an upgrade to a much...

Bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean the main things are fine. Walls are a bit shabby and it needs a good thorough clean. Had loud crickets that sounded like was coming out of the air conditioner. Could do with a update. But it was alright and a good location and price is good.

Clean simple rooms. The air conditioner was noisy. Simple bed coverings. Simple furniture. Some power points weren't working. A microwave just randomly put on the desk. The pool was closed which was a disappointment. Some rooms face a working messy area. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and staff friendly.

Quiet but centrally located motel, under new owenership, and the rooms are being upgraded to a very good standard. Rooms are large and nicely furnished, with good bathrooms. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, but due to re-open shortly.

New owners are in process of renewing a motel back to the high goodwill it had in previous years. Very friendly staff, great position (only a few blocks walk to numerous eating choices and main street) and owners in process of arranging reopening a once-fine restaurant attached to the property.
