Excellent stay. Very quaint (and roomy) cottage. Gerarda and Tony were great and worked in perfectly with us to ensure our stay was a memorable one. Especially loved the log fire - only wished we had more time than the week we had.

We booked two cottages (Middle and Rose) for a sporting weekend in the country and were very pleased with the accommodation. Its not modern by any means, and is a good insight into a 19th century building fitted out in 1950s style. It was clean, roomy and the kitchen had everything needed to feed to massing hordes. Bedding was comfortable,...

We stayed for three nights and found the location great with easy walking into Bathurst. Easy to find as well. The cottage was comfortable but quaint as you would expect. Would recommend for a short stay like ours but if you expect 5 star luxury this is not for you.

We booked the 140 Keppel Street cottage (on the left of the three adjoining cottages) but on arrival found it was terrible. A very old corrugated iron building and not refurbished that we could see. Very dark and gloomy inside. Only air conditioning in the two very poky bedrooms, certainly not enough for a cold place like Bathurst in winter...

We stayed here for a weekend in April, and were extremely disappointed. It is very dark, and the decor dates from approximately 50 years ago with no updates since. It looks as though someones elderly relatives lived (and died) here and they have kept the same furniture and soft furnishings. This is not 'historic'- it is an owner who doesn't...

I've had the pleasure of staying at these cottages on several occasions, and always look forward to returning. I usually stay at Jordon Cottage, but have, on other trips, stayed in middle cottage. If you're looking for a 5 star, austere, cold and sterile atmosphere, these are NOT the rooms for you. IF, however, you like different, historical, warm and...

We stayed 3 nights in this really fascinating old cottage. Very warm gas fires took the chill out of the winter air that had descended over Bathurst. I love old homes and this was a real treat, with old features still in place throughout and an extension on the back that provided lots of spreading out room. The cottages (there...

We were due to stay here for a whole week! but when we found the cottage, and retrieved the key from under the seat outside on the porch and opened the front door, we were quite literally dumb struck by what faced us on entering into the lounge. From here, with mouths wide open and eyes the size of dinner...

We have just stayed at these fantastic cottages, which worked perfectly for us. Our son was getting married in Bathurst and I needed accommodation for the whole family. The 3 cottages slept all of us and it was great having the back yard area for us all to be together, the BBQ was the hub of our stay there. Gerada...

A great place to stay with kids. We stayed in the rise cottage. Lots if room for our kids to run around. We also borrowed the BBQ and entertained our friends and their children!
