We were a family of 5 (4 adults and a baby) staying in two separate rooms. Both rooms were very clean and nicely heated. There is a common kitchen area (inlcuding a fridge, a microwave and all needed cutlery), where we could all seat to enjoy a meal if we did not want to go out, and there are shopping possibilities nearby. There is also tea and coffee, that you can prepare to your liking whenever you want. The free wifi worked perfect. We were received by Laila, who was really sweet and friendly and willing to provide ideas for our weekend plan. The breakfast was really good with perfectly cooked soft-boiled eggs and lots of nicely warm fresh bread, butterm cheese, cold cuts, juice, coffee and tea. Certainly a place to stay if you are planning a trip to Legoland, Ribe or any other place in the area.

Absolutely loved our time spent at Den Gamle Kostald! We are a family of four with two young children (1&7) and stayed here during our trip to Legoland Bilund (30min drive). The B&B has a small kitchenette complete with all the works which guests can use freely and an excellent breakfast of eggs, home baked bread, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses is served each morning. The rooms are clean and spacious and have an "old" feel to them, which ties in perfectly with the homely and farm-like theme to the place. The beds are comfortable and extra pillows were provided. Wardrobe/hanging space is also available. Clean towels and bedding were provided by the hosts, though it is advisable to take your own shampoo/body wash/hairdryer etc as these are not provided. Local shops are close by can be found 10minutes away (FAKTA, Netto etc). Overall a really homely, friendly stay with good amenities and vibes. Hosts were lovely, approachable and helpful! Thanks for having us you guys! Siobhan, Patrick, Eddie and Eryn xox

This B&B is located and a very nice farm. The lovely owners make you feel at home, they are very attentive, kind and charming with the guests. The rustic decoration of the old stable and outside contrasts with the confortability and modern room. The bed is very confortable, all perfectly clean. The room is totally homely. There are very cosy details of decoration and toys available in the old stable. The breakfast is super fresh and everything was delicious. Wide range of things and quantity, you can't finish everything. It is a perfect location near Ribe, Billund, Legoland. I wish I could have stayed more time.

This B & B was a great find. It is a converted farmhouse that had been in the family for more than 100 years. Our host, Laila (we didn't get a chance to meet Jorgen) was charming, down to earth, and very interesting! The farm house is wonderfully decorated, the rooms large and VERY clean, and the bathrooms large, well equipped and clean. The bathroom floors were heated, a very nice touch in the colder months, and the temperature control in the rooms was great. There is free wi-fi, and television. There is also a full kitchen in the common area outside of the rooms. What a nice touch! You can make tea or coffee anytime you like. Breakfast is $50 kr ($7 usd) and YOU get to choose what time you'd like to eat! The area is charming and quiet. There are a few restaurants about 9 km north for those who need dinner. I would stay here again without any hesitation!
