Newly renovated room with a slight smell of paint still lingering but not overbearing. A lovely comfortable bed and staff friendly and accommodating. The motel is situated close to Dean street and places to eat are within walking distance, very satisfied.

A two night weekend stay at the Commodore Motel in the heart of Albury in winter or summer is always enjoyable because town facilities are within walking distance of this motel. The ground floor room was comfortable clean and relatively quiet even although the motel car park was full. A short 200 metre walk to the Commercial Club for evening... More

Stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms, the room was very well lit, clean and had everything we were after. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And were great on helping us choose where to go for dinner! Being so centrally located everything was in walking distance which was exactly what we were looking for.

I'm not sure if some rooms have been refurbished but ours certainly hadn't been. We chose this hotel because it was just a short walk from a function we were attending. The room we had was very basic and certainly nothing like the picture that comes up on Trip Advisor but it was clean and quiet (for a ground floor... More

The staff were welcoming, and I liked being near my conference; but I doubt I will ever forget the dirty blankets, dirty carpet, weak door lock, and the draft that left me cold no matter how high I set the heater.

I stayed in a ground-floor room which was a good size. The bathroom was a little dated, but for the price and location, this property is great value for money. The adjoining cafe offers breakfast and lunch, and a 10% discount applies to guests of the Commodore. Only a 1 minute walk from shops, bars and restaurants

This was my first stay at The Commodore and it won't be my last. I'm a regular visitor to Albury as I have family there and have tried many hotels. This is not a 5 star hotel but it is affordable, very close to Dean st and a 10 minute walk from station. The staff are very helpful and are... More

It must be good... We have stayed there three times now and the service has never faded. The amenities are great, the staff are great- always friendly, helpful and cheerful. And it is so close to the centre of town- just metres from the Post Office.

A simple but adequate motel right in the heart of town - lots of shops within walking distance. Clean if somewhat crammed, the room had an extra bed so could sleep three!, something we hadn't heard before. Once the renovations are finished, and the cafe is open, it will be a convenient place to stay
