We were at the Lodge for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The place is big and spacious with lots of wood and is full of character. We returned from our overnight stay on Doubtful Sound and needed a sandwich, which is not normally on the menu. However, the chef was more than happy to provide them and they...

We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the pristine setting and lodge facilities and also had the opportunity to venture out to stay on the majestic Doubtful Sound. Our staff are...

We stayed here 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The place is expensive but generally delivers, particularly in the areas that matter the most. Service is exceptional. Everyone we encountered was extremely professional and accommodating. The food is outstanding and very creative. Their bar offers a nice selection of reasonably priced wines and a good assortment of liquor (especially Scotch)....

Fjordland Lodge is a luxurious high end resort that is done up in a log cabin style; that does nothing to diminish how luxurious the appointments are. And the view across the lake is spectacular, this is the highest vantage point so you get a panoramic view of the surroundings. The large central room features comfy couches and an enormous...

This accommodation is unique and top of the range. Brilliantly constructed from NZ timbers and materials the bedroom / bathroom is luxurious and the service excellent. We enjoyed meeting other guests prior to to dinner and the food for both dinner and breakfast very good. Suggest you walk and sit in the garden area for wonderful views - very relaxing....

Situated on a ridge overlooking lake Te Anau and the mountains behind it. Great reception areas with stunning views. Lovely bedrooms, but surprised that a lodge belonging to The Luxury Lodges of New Zealand had a cheap LG television with only local channels available, also the cups in the rooms are plastic. Delicious breakfasts and dinners with charming and extremely...

From the outside, a wonderful rustic lodge in a superb setting, with wonderful food (accommodating my gluten free requirement) and helpful and attentive staff. The log cabin was clean and spacious, and as a couple, plenty of choice of beds! However, if only the minor problems could be resolved - no front door key available, we had to enter and...

We spent two nights at the Fiordland Lodge. Breakfast and dinner are included in your room rate. Service was flawless. Food was delicious. All staff were gracious, friendly, helpful. The views from every window are stunning. The rooms are lovely, well appointed and beyond comfortable. I highly recommend this beautiful lodge. Additionally, they made arrangements for us with a naturalist...

Beautiful property, surrounded by yellow meadows. All rooms have a lake view with mountains in the distance. Very calm and serene atmosphere. Even tough the place was fully booked, we did not see other guests except during mealtimes. The restaurant & hotel staff is first class.

Thank you for this review of your stay and the highlights mentioned from the spectacular lake and mountain surrounds to the cuisine and warm service offered by our team. We’re pleased you enjoyed the lodge and the wild beauty of Fiordland and I am sure your helicopter flight to Preservation Inlet was a real highlight. I enjoyed our chats and...

Lovely lodge with superb view. We stayed for 3 nights and took the package that included a cruise on Milford Sound and a helicopter over Dusky & Doubtful Sounds, which we could not fault. To be picked up on the Lodge's front grass makes it a little bit special! Andy & his staff make for a very enjoyable stay, everyone...
