The room like a home. Located in central of that town, there are some shops, restaurants, supermarket nearby, and you could drive to real-journey office just 5mins. If you would have breakfast, lunch or dinner at hotel, they could make it. They got separated bath and toilet, even thought its a little bit small. Hope you will enjoy your trip.

We got the last room available. It was a clean, well appointed room. Being from the US I am really enjoying the kitchenettes provided in the rooms we have been getting. We stayed two nights and enjoyed them both. We took breakfast at the buffet the first morning. It was a good buffet, a wide variety of breakfasts item available.... More

Stayed for the night and we were greeted by friendly reception staff, who were very helpful including a map of the town. Room was clean and tidy. Two double beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

Stayed here for a night on my way to Queenstown from Milford Sounds. I dont think that this motel justifies the price ($110 US) it asks, for the things it provide. Goods: . The owner(manager) was a very kind and understanding lady. . The exteriors look antique and right out from a Texas cowboy movie. Bads: . I can hear... More

A plethora of vintage signs around the facility does make it a village of its own. It's a short walk to town. Large rooms with kitchenette and simple utensils. Its amusing to see an "antique" TV and old fashioned bedspread yet it provides electric blanket with 2 controls on each bed. What has happened to the flat screen and duvet?... More

Hotel looks like a set from "Movie world" but the rooms are dated from inside. We had booked as 2 adults travelling with 1 child and given room with 3 single beds and informed by receptionist that we did not specify any other bed type. We stayed in many other hotels during our trip , me and my wife did... More

Husband and I had a night stay after visiting Milford Sound in the Fjordlands of South Island, New Zealand. Room can actually accommodate 3 adults or a couple with 2 small children. Beds were comfortable and hotel was close enough to the Te Anau lake if one desires to walk in the morning or evenings.

The unusual design of this hotel was intriguing, each separate unit has an old-fashioned sign above the unit. No mistaking which one is yours. The bed was comfortable, the front desk helpful and accomodating. The only negative was when a bus carrying tourists parked out back of our unit chugged out exhaust for a long time, necessitating closing the back... More
